After meeting with several pool companies, Blue Haven was the only one that could come up with a design that worked within the limited space we had available, while still creating a beautiful and functional pool and spa. They also provided the most competitive pricing, and to our surprise, completed the project in nearly half the time originally estimated. Roberto did an exceptional job designing the pool and helping us maximize every inch of our backyard. Once construction began, Jimmy coordinated the entire project flawlessly. He was always professional, respectful, responsive, and willing to address any questions or concerns we had. His communication and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The final result exceeded our expectations. We now have a spectacular pool and spa that our family enjoys every day. Engineering and setup were great as we designed everything with (Jordan). From a construction standpoint (Jimmy) the construction head was phenomenal, as we had to make some changes to some grade and irrigation improvements once pool was completed, he helped give good direction and construction expertise in achieving our vision. Spoke directly with the Houston area director (Kevin) and any issues or things we needed or concerns we had, he got the right people on the job and made sure we got things done. Pool school with (Jerry) was great, after it was all said and done, I felt comfortable and that they cared about my needs. Pool came out great, and jerry explained all the things and details for me to have confidence in being a first-time pool owner. The direct conversations between the customer from their management team is great and they truly want to achieve a high standard as it comes to installation and customer service to the Houston and surrounding areas.

Blue Haven did a great job with our new pool. The crews were professional and knew what they were doing. Jimmy was a great project manager and I appreciate all his help along the way. We have never owned a pool before so we didn’t know what we didn’t know about pools or preferences. Being a national company they have a formula that will work for what most people want. Overall, we are very happy with the pool. I think they do have some room for improvement though. * On the sales side it would have been nice to see a list of options that we might want to consider and some explanation of why we might want them * During selections it would have been nice to see some curated finish palettes. I.e. this stone, this coping, and this plaster go well together and here’s what it will all look like. A room full of individual options is difficult for a lot of people and overwhelming. * Construction was top notch and did a great job. I think is where Blue Haven shines brightest. * The final startup phase was confusing for us. I’m a data guy and would have liked to have some detailed instructions with where I should keep my chemistry and specific tasks that need to be done for the first six weeks. I think post fill is their biggest room for improvement—at-least for owners that plan on self-maintaining. Overall, we got it figured out with their help and I think we got a great product and a great value.

We had our pool installed by Blue Haven. I am extremely pleased with the service we received from them from start to finish. It took about 47 days (excluding the 7 days of watering and a few bad weather days). It was extremely fast. We met with Matt who drew up the pool and figured up the cost, etc. He even came out on a Sunday as it was most convenient for us. Then we were turned over to his brother Brad, who guided us along the way. He kept us informed of each step that was next and he showed up randomly to walk the project just to check to make sure things were moving along like they were supposed to be. Everytime I had a question or concern and text him he would get back to me the same day. The work crews showed up early in the morning, got things done quickly and went onto their next job. They were very professional and respectful and each crew had a specific job to do. Then I met with Anna at the Richmond location to pick my tiles and plaster. There was so much to choose from but she helped guide me and made it easier to make my selections. Finally the moment we’ve all been waiting for was to meet with Jerald for “pool school”. He went over everything completely and answered all our questions and made pool school enjoyable. He is very knowledgeable and good at what he does. He spent several hours with us making sure he got everything set up to our satisfaction and that we felt comfortable going forward taking care of our investment. He even told us he’s not done with us after today. If we ever have any questions, we can text him and he will get back to us I am completely satisfied with this company and would recommend them to anyone

Blue Haven pools was able to accommodate all of my needs in a very organized and timely fashion. From start to finish the entire construction of my pool took no more than 6 weeks. The attention to detail and cleanliness of the build was very impressive. Special gratitude and shout out to Brad -(superintendent) Extremely knowledgeable in his profession. Always available, willing to work with you and provide excellent ideas and recommendations. Definitely makes it appoint to get the job done correctly every time. Savannah in the office who provides help with your build materials is an excellent help. Very knowledgeable and takes pride in her work. Willing to help you any way possible and I l appreciated that very much. Special shout out to Mathew ( the designer) and also Jerald Mathew. Jerald Is definitely an expert in his craft and after the build will keep your pool staying clean and crystal clear. Any questions in regards to maintaining your pool and upkeep. He’s the guy!!! Everything was completed on time, and we had a great experience overall. Jordan got us started and guided us through every step of the process. As first-time pool owners, we had a lot of questions, and he was always patient and made sure we were headed in the right direction. Once construction began, Brad took over and did an excellent job coordinating everything. The project was well-organized, stayed on schedule, and was completed in just 5–6 weeks. The best part was how clean everything was kept—there was no mess left in the backyard. Highly recommend the team for their professionalism, communication, and efficiency!

I just completed my pool with Blue Haven and I have to say overall the experience has been amazing! Starting with Roberto who designed my pool. I had been back and forth with other pool companies about what I can do in my backyard space dealing with easements, smaller backyard, and different things. He truly listened to what I envisioned for me and my daughter and he was able to bring that to life! I am forever grateful for that. Once we started construction I do have to say I was disappointment in the communication aspect. I am not familiar with construction (this was my first project) and I felt very left in the dark about a lot of things happening in my backyard at my own house. I feel that communication could improve greatly during the construction phase especially for people who do not know how construction works. While the project was finished in a timely manner, communication is more important to me. However, when I met Kathryn to do tile selections she was amazing! In a process that is so overwhelming with all the different options. She never once made me fell rushed. She literally took me outside with the samples to see what they looked like in the sun light vs just being inside and I loved that she took that extra step. I am so happy with all my tile, coping, and decking because of this! Last but not least, Jerry with pool school was great! He took this time to walk me through everything. Being a first time pool owner I have no clue what I am doing. He took the time to teach me everything equipment wise. He also taught me about the chemicals and really went the extra mile! Thank you to everyone at Blue Haven for turning my backyard into an oasis that my daughter and I can make many memories in! I truly appreciate it.

We recently had our pool built by Blue Haven Pools and couldn't be happier with the experience. From the design center to the final punch list, the entire team made the process smooth and stress-free. Dustin Ripley, our sales rep, took the time to understand what we actually needed rather than just upselling. His equipment recommendations were spot-on — everything from the pump to the ozone system has performed exactly as he described, and we didn't end up paying for anything we didn't need. Katherine at the design center was a huge help when it came to picking materials. She was patient, knowledgeable, and guided us through finishes, tile, and color choices without ever making us feel rushed. The end result looks exactly how we envisioned it — and honestly better. Jimmy May, our project manager, was equally impressive. He kept us informed throughout the build, coordinated the trades well, and delivered the pool on time, exactly as promised. He also came back and worked through our entire punch list without any pushback — every item got addressed properly. Jerry Steinhauser ran our pool school and was fantastic. He walked us through the equipment, explained how everything works in a way that actually made sense, and has continued to answer our follow-up questions well after the initial session. That kind of ongoing support means a lot to first-time pool owners. If you're considering Blue Haven, ask for Dustin, Katherine, Jimmy, and Jerry — they're the real deal. Highly recommend.

Bait and Switch Pricing I had a very disappointing experience with Blue Haven. We were provided a written contract at one price as shown in the picture Over 2 nights while rep "went to belize", that price increased by over $8,000 and this was after we actually reduced the pool size, not upgraded anything. Sales rep wanted us to zelle his personal account a 1k deposit prior to seeing the new contract. Thankfully we didn't! When questioned, the sales rep MA TT and manager Phi lip admitted it was a “mistake,” but instead of honoring the original contract, they refused to match the agreed price. Ma Tt was very rude once confronted! The only thing offered were “freebies” that had already been included and discussed in the original deal so nothing of real value was added. We ultimately moved forward with another company that was not only faster, but also transparent and consistent from start to finish. The explanation we received was that the rep had gone out of the country for a couple of days and the system changed and he made a mistake on the contract when he returned which is not a reasonable or professional justification when a written contract was already provided. If you’re considering Blue Haven, I strongly recommend getting everything locked in clearly and being cautious. Based on our experience, pricing was not reliable and commitments were not honored.

We started our pool project around October 29th and it was completed by the second week of January. Overall, we are very happy with the final result, and a big part of that comes down to our project manager, Jimmy. From start to finish, Jimmy’s communication was professional, consistent, and very informative. He kept us updated throughout every phase of the project and made sure we always knew what to expect next. Anytime we had questions or concerns, he was quick to respond and never left us guessing. That level of communication truly set the tone for the entire experience. Like any large project, there were a few hiccups along the way. One of the biggest issues we encountered was with the spray deck color. It did not come out as expected initially, and we had to have it repainted/resprayed multiple times—about 3 to 4 times—just to get it to properly match the existing deck. That was definitely frustrating and not ideal. Another area that fell short was the pool school with Jerry. The communication there was lacking, and the session itself felt rushed. We didn’t feel like it fully met expectations in terms of clarity and thoroughness, which is an important part of the process for new pool owners. That being said, what truly stood out was how Jimmy handled everything. Even during moments of frustration—which would be understandable for anyone—he remained calm, professional, and solution-focused. He stayed on top of every issue, addressing concerns quickly, often the same day or by the next. He even came out to our home at night to make sure things were taken care of, which shows a level of dedication you don’t see often. Jimmy made us feel heard, respected, and supported throughout the entire process. It never felt like we were just another project—he genuinely cared about making sure our family was happy with the final outcome. Because of Jimmy, we were able to get through the challenges with confidence, and in the end, we now have a beautiful pool that our family truly enjoys. If you’re considering building a pool, I would absolutely recommend this company—but I strongly recommend requesting Jimmy as your project manager. He truly makes all the difference. Would I choose them again Yes!

Blue Haven Pools did such an amazing job from start to finish. Dustin was incredible with helping us decide and design our new beautiful pool. He took his time to go over every detail in our decision making and was there whenever we needed some answers. Cody, our site project manager, was terrific. He kept up with the subcontractors, always informed us of any changes, and was very responsive when we asked questions, no matter what day or time it was! He was patient, knowledgeable, professional and personal. We finally had our anticipated “pool school” with Jerry and it was fantastic! He was so informative, kind, funny, professional, patient, and he knew his job inside and out. He answered all our questions and then some. He taught us valuable details about our brand new pool so that we would feel comfortable and confident maintaining it. But also, gave us assurance that he would be here for us if we need anything…. We loved that!!! Also, when it was time to pick out the materials for our pool, Kathryn astonished us! She was extremely knowledgeable and professional about all the selections that Blue Haven had to offer. She was patient and had great ideas and opinions which, for the most part, we took her advice and the finished product is amazing!!! Our pool was built so quickly and efficiently that we have to give a shout out to Belinda for keeping the subcontractors in line and on time for our new pool construction! We couldn’t have done it without her. Everyone from the designer to the subcontractors… Blue Haven did a wonderful job from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this company!

Update 3 months after install Still love the pool but have some updates Drainage in backyard was greatly affected by the install and we have reached out to blue haven to help as we paid for additional drainage work and installation of catch basins and line to street and have had no response which is disappointing. Additionally the water falls were left unfinished and I didn’t see until we were able to really get in the pool. They are at eyes level when in the pool and the interior was left unfinished and rough to say the least. We have sent messages and emails with photos and have received no feedback whatsoever which is disappointing. So while the overall pool is beautiful the follow up and assistance after install has been disappointing. Truly expected a bit more from the team that seemed to really care. I have posted a video and when you swim up the inside of the falls are at eye level so to have it look so unfinished looks awful. I would even pay for it to be fixed if they would call us back. I love blue haven / this experience has been A+ from the start! Let’s be honest buying a pool is exciting but it is not cheap, so having an entire team you trust and that gives you the attention, respect and professionalism you need in such a large purchase is key to a solid experience and feeling good about just spending a years salary on a hole (albeit a beautiful hole but still a hole) in your back yard. Our experience was just that, pleasurable. From the no pressure sales process from Phil who let us take our time, make changes, ponder, adjust and price compare and consider the options while standing by and still following up to let us know about specials along the way; to signing the contract and working thru the HOA the first steps were a breeze. Jimmy our project manager was thorough, respected our time, ensured we understood and followed up with consistent communication during the entire process. What I liked best was the setting of clear expectations- even when it was not good news or what we wanted to hear, he said it, “Christmas will be here and nothing will happen and you will be mad, and I am sorry, but after the holidays the team will be back like gang busters and your pool will be on track!” He was right! Picking out finishes would have been daunting but it was pleasurable, even with my perfectionist husband! Katherine was patient, a pro at playing both sides and knowing how to support, while also offering feedback; she was just like a marriage counselor in a blue haven pool tile color selection shirt! It was great! Once we are on the final stretch and the pool was full our very own pool start up tech/teacher/chemical pro Jerry showed up to train us on every aspect of cleaning, maintenance and operations. This guys passion for pools was wow! I mean when he left my husband said, “i sure hope we don’t mess this up and disappoint him!” That’s how into pools he was and how into Pools he wanted us to be! All and all I can say this was a GREAT experience/ besides the dent in my savings account, we are so happy and like Willy Wonkas grandpa says…we can always make more money!! But this pool is great and we are ready to make amazing memories. Thank you blue haven team for this wonderful, professional and seamless experience!! 5 out of 5 would do again!!

March 2026 edit V2: although there were some valid concerns I’ve had w/ communication, the team has made up for them & I can appreciate folks who accepts feedback and takes action. The Blue Haven team was wonderful to work with. We had Kelly as our designer, who was friendly and listened to my wishes and executed it beautifully. Travis as our PM, who doesn’t get enough credit in reviews. He is incredibly professional and an overall nice guy (even when I gave him a hard time in the beginning 😊). Travis was always there to answer my call/texts and kept everything moving quickly. ~5 weeks from dig to completion — Travis crushed it with the contractor coordination! Kathryn at the office was so sweet and patient. Communication from financing (Nancy) could be improved - wasn’t very friendly and left us with many questions about how it will all work. However, they worked quickly for the most part and we will work with the lender directly to get the clarity we need - so be prepared accordingly. Lastly, Jerry was fun to work with for pool school and incredibly knowledgeable. I feel much more confident knowing he’s here to help me on my journey of being a new pool owner. Thank you all!! 🤍

Cody, our site manager, and his team finished our pool in less than two months—much faster than we expected—and it looks incredible! Kathryn from the design center helped us choose our finishes and was fantastic at helping my husband and me find compromises when we couldn’t decide. Last but not least, Jerry gave us a thorough class on how to operate the equipment and explained the follow-up steps for the coming months.
