The team did an excellent job with my oil tank replacement. The work was completed efficiently, and the finished product looks clean and professional. They took care to leave the area spotless after the job was done. Highly recommend their services for anyone in need of reliable and quality workmanship. I was a Blue Flame customer for over 30 years for my Oil Heating,.My new house is all Propane, they now handle propane so I switched back to them. They came and switched out the 2 propane tanks with 2 brand new ones that I purchased from them. Only hiccup was the lift on the truck stopped working, but they were able to hand lift the old tanks out and hand place the new ones. The installation continued without any issues. Thanks Blue Flame!

We have used Blue Flame since 1985 when we purchased our home. We needed a year to get back on our feet after the closing and our old oil furnace was not working. Pat and his team came to the house, explained our needs and for an very fair price, got us up and running. 2 years later when we added an in-law apartment, Pat did not agree with the duct work proposed by the builder. He personally redesigned it and did the job himself! 10 years ago we converted our heat/air to natural gas. Again, Pat's team did an awesome job of removing the old oil tank and installing the new system. Trustworthy, honest and fair. Pat, and his outstanding team, Joe, Mike, Nick, Nick, Glen, Darwin, Kathy and the rest of their team have always been outstanding!!

We had an emergency oil tank leak, and Blue Flame Oil was incredible. They came out the same day to assess the situation and had a brand new tank installed within two days. The team was clean, efficient, polite, and very respectful throughout the entire process. Truly professional service—we’re so grateful for their quick response and excellent work!

Great service and great team. I highly recommend Blue Flame. We have been a customer for years and they quickly replaced our AC unit this summer. They responded quickly and replaced it, beating our expectations, since it was hot and a very busy time of year for AC repairs.

Did a great job on a new AC install in extremely hot weather. Worked way to late to make sure everything was OK and followed up a few days later to see that everything was working properly. Also offered the best price without trying to oversell.

My AC stopped working last night and after numerous other businesses couldn't get someone out for 2-3 days I was referred to Blue Flame and they came out right away. Nick & Ryan were fantastic, diagnosed the issues, had parts in stock on the truck and got me up and running again in a couple hours. Price was very reasonable. I will definitely be using them for all of my future HVAC needs.

I recently had to have my AC replaced. I called Blue Flame Oil and spoke with Joe and Andrew. They were very helpful and professional. They answered all of my questions and were able to get me all the information I needed in a timely manner. Then when they did the install, Aymen, Chris, Wilson and Ryan came. They did the install in the time they promised. All of the techs were extremely nice and professional. I would recommend Blue Flame Oil 10/10 times. Thank you to the Blue Flame Oil team!

Recently had my furnace and my central air conditioner replaced. Blue Flame did an outstanding job getting the work done. It was all installed and completed in one day and is working beautifully. They were very helpful and were so easy and pleasant to work with. Our family had been with them for many years because they do always do a great job. I would absolutely recommend them!

Blue Flame Oil is easy to work with. Joe took time to explain why we could not repair our central air unit and had a technician at my house within 10 minutes to assess next steps. The technicians who handled the install were friendly and willing to answer any questions that we had. They also took time walk us through changes that we might notice in how the new unit was installed vs. the old unit.

We were out of state and eager to sell when the inspector found a slow leak in our oil tank. Blue Flame rode to our rescue with a quick estimate and timely, error-free installation that helped us out tremendously. They really did a great job for a reasonable price and would not hestitate to recommend them to anyone for installation of a new oil tank.

Tldr: They give you bad information and then won't fix their mistakes: Full version: A couple years ago I  switched to mini splits for my heating. Unfortunately I didn't notify blue flame until a late-fall delivery of oil popped up. That was my bad. So I called them to let them know they did not need to come anymore. They still came TWICE afterward and sent me a notice saying something was wrong with my gauge. While obviously the visits were less expensive because no product was delivered I still had the basic service fee to pay each time. Finally after the third time they removed me from the delivery route. Then I got the surprise automatic bill the following spring for the year-long service protection plan or whatever that I forgot to cancel. It would have been good customer service to inquire about my desire to continue with that or not. They're the professionals. But still, I didn't think of it either so I didn't complain, I just took advantage of having one last servicing/cleaning/checkup on the equipment. I guess they didn't notice the lousy patch job on the filter that the previous owners did because a few weeks ago, it leaked. So on a Sunday, at time and a half, someone came out to fix it. I told him that I don't use the oil and would like to have the tank removed. I asked if I would be reimbursed for the returned oil. He said 'yes' so I said, "ok, cool. Let's just disconnect it then and I'll check in with you guys about removal of the tank." He said, "great, we'll get someone to send you a quote this week." At least a week goes by and I hear nothing, so I give them a call. I am informed that it would be about a grand and that, no, I will not be reimbursed for the oil because it's contaminated. They said people who DO come to take oil and pay for it are often uninsured and leave a HUGE mess. I wouldn't know, it's not my profession. At any rate, IF I HAD KNOWN THAT I WOULDN'T BE REFUNEDED I WOULD HAVE KEPT IT CONNECTED AND USED UP MY OIL NEXT WINTER. But that idea didn't occur to us until just this week. It was my dad actually who thought of it, not me - I'll chalk up that lack of clear problem solving to frustration. It's not as good as my electric heat pumps, but at least I would be using fuel I've already paid for and easing up on the electric bill. Either that technician lied to me, or the people he works for did not train him properly. In either case, they are the professionals, not me. This increasingly wasteful and expensive mistake could have been mitigated by proper customer-oriented service. I called and explained this situation and that, while I am very frustrated that this has gotten to this point, if they want to be considered for future business (I got a sales pitch about care and services for heat pumps like the ones I have) I would appreciate them taking up the cost of reconnection of the fuel tank to the furnace. I will pay for materials/parts, but the labor is on the company. It is THEIR employees who have bungled this up enough already. If I had messed up this much with any of my clients I would NEVER make them pay to fix my mistake. They said no. $190/hour. I said "no thanks" and had them delete my personal and payment info from their records

First off, I am sorry we did not meet your expectations as a company, and we will continue striving to provide better service in the future. The two deliveries you referred to were made while the account was still on automatic delivery (Dec 2022 and Feb 2023). Once we were notified in March 2023 regarding the mini-splits you had installed by another company and to cancel your auto deliveries, no further deliveries were attempted. There were no additional charges billed for the previously mentioned deliveries, only for the minimal amount of oil that was delivered.
The notice you received was due to the delivery driver not getting a whistle from the vent alarm, and they are required to notify you of this for safety reasons when filling the tank. In hindsight, and after learning you had been relying in mini-splits for your main heat source, we understand this was because the tank was full and not due to a vent alarm issue.
In reference to the service policy renewals, policies are billed out one month in advance so you have that time to decide if you would like to maintain them and to ensure there is no lapse in coverage. We find this is the fairest way to handle renewals as it allows customers to maintain coverage automatically worry-free, and also provides flexibility to those who wish to cancel in a given year.
When you called about an oil leak last month, our technician promptly came out and addressed the issue. Oil in any home's oil tank is legally considered waste oil, and unfortunately we are not able to provide a refund for it. It seems you were given incorrect information at the time regarding this. We apologize for the confusion and will be reviewing our training procedures to ensure that type of miscommunication does not happen again. We strive to be great for our customers, but ultimately we are not perfect.

To get one stop shopping for my home mechanicals, I recently changed to Blue Flame for total service of my furnace, hot water heater, Air Conditioning (AC), and propane delivery. Their initial visit to my home included functional check and adjustments to my furnace and hot water heater (AC will get checked in May). They performed a leak check on my propane tank/system and installed a network sending unit that allows Blue Flame to remotely monitor my tank's propane amount. All very impressive! Lastly, when calling Blue Flame a human answers not an answering machine! They have created an excellent customer oriented business strategy.

We just had a complete re-do of our fuel from total oil to total propane. The job was done by Blue Flame Oil Company My wife and I were amazed with the professionalism in which this 4 day transfer took place. We were kept informed of everything that was taking place as it occurred, the guys were clearly highly trained for what looked like to me a very intricate operation. We are now on propane for our heating in our home, for our fire pit on our deck and for our grill on our deck and in the near future for our fireplace. We will be able to eventually hook up to a gas stove if needed in the future. Everything Blue Flame told us from the exact price to how the procedure would take place is exactly what happened. We could not be happier with now using propane nor could we be happier about using Blue Flame as a company. Thank you Blue flame for a warm and cleaner home!!!

We have been using Blue Flame Oil for supplying our oil for many years without a hitch. This year Blue Flame performed an annual maintenance on my furnace and found some issues. Joe worked with me to find the best solution! They provided an exceptionally prompt timeline for replacement. After a lot of research we decided to switch from oil to propane. Joe provided all the pros and cons to switching. Ultimately we decided to install propane. Their installation team was exceptional, friendly and most important thorough! The heat was back on in about 6 hours!! We are so happy that we chose Blue Flame!!
