Decided to take up the drums after retirement (drumming for fun). Started classes with Ian and thoroughly enjoying it. Ian is an amazing teacher/drummer and I look forward to my lesson each week. Also had a few lessons with Darragh and Maurice who are excellent teachers as well.I would highly recommend Blanch music school and shop. John and Ed are very helpful and obliging and always a pleasure to deal with.

My 7-year child Nora has been learning with Irene and Sarah for few weeks. Irene is very kind and patient violin teacher. She makes learning fun and helps build good habits from the beginning. Nora looks forward to every lesson and is making great progress thanks to her gentle and encouraging teaching style. Sarah is a wonderful singing teacher who creates a fun and positive atmosphere. She helps Nora feel confident and excited about singing. Her lessons are always full of energy, and we’ve seen such joy and improvement in my little one’s voice.

My child has been taking piano lessons with Brendan for a year and the progress has been wonderful to see. When he started he was completely new to piano, but over the past year he has learned to read music, play with both hands, and even perform a few songs confidently. Brendan has been a fantastic teacher- patient, encouraging and able to keep lessons fun while still challenging.
We are very happy with the experience and would highly recommend Brendan Kennedy to anyone interested in learning music.

Just wanted to share the amazing expert experience I had in the shop with John.
John opened the door even though I was there before opening time. Gave all his knowledge and expertise while I was purchasing speaker cable and he guided me through the options available.
Shop local and support these small companies in the area.
I wouldn't have got that sort of help if I had purchased them online. Thanks a mill.

I started to play guitar 2 years ago a great experience. I started as my daughter started three years ago and one evening when I was listening her practising Californication (Red Hot Chili Peppers), I thought ... I would like to play with my daughter one day. I am still improving and in one more year I hope to play with her. We had a great inspiration from the teachers Max and Sarah. Thank you so much.
I really appreciate their techniques on teaching my child on learning his instrument. He finds the lesson very engaging and effective.

Fionn has been attending guitar lessons with Mo in Blanch Music since early 2025. He's really enjoying his lessons and im really pleased with how his playing is coming along.
The set up in blanch music is fantastic and there is a lovely friendly atmosphere around the place. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Blanch Music and his tutor Mo Sheerin to anyone considering learning guitar.

I can't praise Blanch Music enough. It's been my go to shop for keyboard, guitar, and music tech accessories for over a decade now and my son loves the music lessons (drums).
