Black Forge Art Reviews

Christine Turner 2026.10.01

We love our new sign, the design and quality were perfect. Black Forge Art were so helpful as I already had a metal post for the sign to attach to. I drew a template where the existing holes were and they made the sign to fit the existing post. (Sorry the pictures don't do justice to the sign as we have trees at our entrance.)

We have wanted a weather vane for some time but did not want something that would not last very long. We spotted Black Forge Art site and messaged them with our request. I wanted the Kent Invicta Horse as my partner is a Man of Kent plus his fathers old Kent regiment badge was the Invicta. Josh came back with the design and cost and all to be made in stainless steel. The vane is very well made and looks amazing in position plus one very happy partner, Thank you BFA

Hi Received Horse and Girl in the air weathervane, it surpassed expectations. Beautifully presented I now know my sister is going to cry when she unwraps it this Christmas. But that’s what a big brother responsibility is too make little sister cry. Thank you for such exceptional work.

We always wanted a weather vane with a witch and a cat. Originally we saw a smithy in Cornwall but they had ceased forging. My wife came across Black Forge Art, they didn't quite have what we wanted but they accommodated us to the design in the photo. No fuss, no extra charge. When it arrived, we found the quality to be excellent and the detail, exceptional! Clear instructions to install; getting the Northing, I used a compass on my phone. It looks good in situ. Funny bit is, at night a light column casts a shadow on our wall! Spooky! Many thanks to Josh for his help, advice and assistance.

I had the idea of having the silhouette of my late stepdad cut into metal so that my Mum could remember him. I searched on the internet and came across Black Forge Art. I had a response immediately that they could easily do it. Modifications had to be done to the artwork but they checked they were okay (which they were) and then they were clear about the costs. Josh kept my updated regularly throughout the process and I said from the start I wasn't in any rush. The finished product was amazing. My Mum instantly recognised it as my stepdad. The quality of the finished product is top quality and it came with fixings to stand proud of the wall it's on. Thank you to Josh and those involved -> you've made us extremely happy!

Perfect addition to our garage! Fantastic Triumph Stag weathervane! The quality is excellent, and it was a breeze to assemble and install on our garage's gable end. It perfectly complements the car in the garage and looks absolutely stunning. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out—truly adds a touch of charm. Highly recommended!
