Moses and Ryan were very pleasant and thorough giving us the most comprehensive plan for our home concerning radon mitigation. The time they spent with us to make sure our plan was in place, helping us to understand the process and making sure we were comfortable was above and beyond. I would highly recommend Blackburn Foundation Repair for your foundation and radon mitigation needs.
Team was very friendly and was good with communication. I do wish the sump pump hoses where much longer then what was provided as it doesnt go out to the yard. As well as the humidifier I paid alot of money for not being hooked up and not having a long enough drainage line. Thats alot of money to not do those fine details.
I own a slab on grade twin home. One of the realator’s in Sioux Falls noticed the trim was a little uneven. He asked if I call someone to look at it and said ok. Then a very arrogant sales guy from Blackburn came out and explained the 1/2 inch difference from the floor to the lime green line was off from one side to the other. I asked since it’s not the foundation, it was a little settling. He said to me, Listen to me, you don’t know anything about foundation and let the experts handle it in a snarky tone. Keep in mind, it’s a slab on grade. The foundation around the house was perfect, but the settling of the concrete inside the foundation of the home settled a 1/2 inch from one side. This is very common from the builders I know from my membership with the Home Builders Association.
They proceeded( the Blackburn rep) to say it was unsafe and called my realator to fix it for 8000.00. Are you kidding me, it’s a slab on grade. There is nothing to fix.
The rep was looking for a job and money grab. Very dishonest company and my advice is to stay clear of them for anything. This company is not family owned and is a corporate company looking for one thing. Profit and bottom line. I will always tell all my networks that is the worst company in Sioux Falls. Please don’t contact them unless you want dishonest service.

Had a sump pump installed and tile system installed by Blackburn. During the installation, they hit our sewer line and did not tell us. They just tried cementing around it and hoped we wouldn’t notice. In addition, they missed several pvc joints which caused water leaks when the sump pump ran. Also they did not seal around any of the lines to the outside which increased the draft coming in from the outside. I would not recommend this company whatsoever.

We were very pleased with the entire experience. Sinan Supurgeci was very thorough/professional in explaining how the entire process works in regards to the project that addresses the work to be done on our basement walls. His step by step explanation helped us understand what our options were and how we wanted to proceed. When we were done with our meeting we felt that we had finally had some good options to proceed with. That relieved a lot of stress that we had been under since the beginning of our situation. We highly recommend that if you come across basement/foundation issues that you give Blackburn a call.
One year later…We had some questions about the maintenance of the braces and called the office to get some information. They sent out one of their service technicians, Steve Howdle, and he came and did an inspection of the work that they had done. He thoroughly checked the wall braces and explained everything that we needed to know about the continued maintenance of the wall braces. We were given a very thorough assessment and explanation of what we needed to do to ensure that the walls would continue to be properly secured. We have been very pleased with Blackburn for their continued support and service in addressing our basement wall issues.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting Levi. He was a very knowledgeable young man who did a wonderful job surveying a family member s basement that was having water issues and mold problems. When he had finished his survey he sat down with us and explained his findings. He then answered all our questions and gave us suggestions on how to take care of the basement and get it back to a water free and safe environment to live in. Blackburn is a great company. I say this as the did our basement in 2022 an we have had no water or radon issues since. Thanks again Levi .
