We had a fantastic private chef experience at our house with Matej from Bistronomy. The evening started very relaxed—we watched a game together, and Matej blended in seamlessly, never rushing the flow of the night. Afterwards, he treated us to an exceptional dinner that was both refined and comforting. Every dish was beautifully executed, full of flavor, and thoughtfully presented. One of our guests is a partner of a Michelin restaurant, which says a lot about our expectations—and Matej exceeded them. The entire experience felt professional yet personal, making it a truly memorable evening. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-end but warm and enjoyable private dining experience.

If you’re on the fence about choosing this business, there’s no need to debate or overthink it. The coordination from start to finish was nothing short of extraordinary. Carolina, the Director of Operations, and Matej, the Private Chef, are truly wonderful people to work with, and their staff were incredibly kind. Together, they made our vow renewal on December 12, 2025 an experience we will never forget. We traveled from the U.S. to experience the best catering in Spain, and they exceeded every expectation. Carolina’s warm, bubbly personality and excellent communication skills played a huge role in our decision to choose this team. During the event, Chef Matej, Carolina, and their entire staff were attentive, friendly, proactive, and inclusive in the service they provided. The food presentation, timing and tastefulness of the food was great! If we could give Bistronomy Barcelona a six-star review, we absolutely would.

Bistronomy cooked my wedding anniversary dinner and I could not have been more impressed! We did the dynamic tasting menu for 17 people and each dish was beautifully thought out and tasted AMAZING! They were great about creating dishes that avoided any allergens and aversions for each guest. 10/10 would recommend. I will be using them if I am ever in Barcelona again! Unforgettable experience!

Communication was seamless, he arrived on time, and came fully prepared with everything we needed, even the table settings. The food was absolutely fantastic, with a great variety of dishes tailored perfectly to our requests. Every course was delicious and beautifully presented. Matej cooked for our family while we visited Barcelona. It was an amazing experience. Matej crested a beautiful table scape and delicious, fresh meals for our kid’s taste and a more gourmet meal for adults. We did the wine pairing which was totally worth it. I highly recommend this experience for an authentic Barcelona meal in the comfort of your vacation rental.
