Disclaimer- I am not a customer. I was with a private trip that leapfrogged with Holiday's Gates of Lodore musical trip with the Del Sol string quartet this past week. Their guides, especially Josh, were incredibly friendly and professional. The other outfitters we ran into left a less than positive impression. If I were to ever want to do a commercial trip, Holiday would be at the top of my list. Top notch!

Our 5 day reading trip down the Yampa River would not have been complete without the crew from Holiday River Expeditions. Our guides led our group from Sierra Club with exceptional expertise and joy. Each spot along the route included amazing sights and hands on exploration. Lucy, Brian, Sam, Sherpa and Kai ran camp setup and meals like a well oiled machine. I never would have expected to eat so well on such a trip. We ate better out in the wilderness without running water than some expensive restaurants! Great reminders we're given throughout the trip to keep everyone well hydrated and safe. Great attention to safety while also enjoying hikes, water fun and such rich history of the area.

First rafting trip for my wife Patti and I, it was everything I expected and more. The scenery was beautiful, the people we met were awesome, the food was insane and our guides. Liz, Justin, Jack and Brin were the best! They were super efficient, patient, very knowledgeable we felt super safe. In Hawaii we would say they have lots of aloha (love) for us and their job. We would love to do it again, but only with Holiday! "Aloha aina" (love the land) Mahalo Holiday and all your staff for creating a awesome lasting memory for us! 🤙🏽

Just spent 5 days with Holiday on the Colorado going through Cataract Canyon. The crew, food, camping equipment, rafts, SUPs, duckies and dory were all excellent. We had Liz, Justin, Jack and Bren all working very hard on and off the river to ensure our safety and enjoyment. Fortunately, we also had very nice fellow clients which added to the great trip vibe. I highly recommend Holiday River Expeditions and hope you have as good experience as we did.

We had a great trip led by Drake and Rolf down the Westwater Canyon. It was a small travel group and when we were finished we felt like family. The attention to detail and support through the trip was impeccable. I would definitely recommend Holiday Expeditions for your next family vacation.

Epoch Tour with Superior Guides My husband booked the White Rim Trail 3-Day bike tour in Canyonlands. The experience was challenging (moderately trained) but FUN! Outstanding guides , Sam and Justin, were sensitive to my 60+ age and the only female on this trip. I would wholeheartedly choose this in a 4-Day version with Sam and Justin again!

Can't say enough good things! This will have been our 3rd rafting trip with Holiday, this last one was Labyrinth Canyon, 5 day-4 night. The pre-trip communication with staff was outstanding. We had a hick-up while driving across Nevada and the gals in the SLC office are worth their weight in gold in helping us with different options.As for the trip itself, food and gear is always an A+. Scenery was outstanding, the early morning hike up to Bowknot Bend Saddle was the "icing on the cake", followed with breakfast when we got back to camp.Even dealing with "mud" at first camp due to the previous weeks rain helped to make this trip wonderfully memorable. A truly added plus, was the care -helping hand-consideration-etc they had for my other half with PD.

We rafted with Holiday River Expeditions as part of a wedding celebration in September, and it was an unforgettable experience. Tim, our trip lead, was incredible, he handled all the logistics and last-minute questions with patience, flexibility, and a consistently positive attitude. You could tell he genuinely cared about both the guides and the guests. He made sure every van navigated the mountain roads safely and even got creative to find a ride back down to the campsite! His calm leadership made everything run smoothly. Abbey was our rafting guide, and she was absolutely fantastic. As river newbies, we had a lot of questions, and she answered every single one with enthusiasm and kindness. She made us feel safe, confident, and totally at ease on the water. Her energy and love for what she does were contagious. The entire Holiday River Expeditions team was professional, welcoming, and clearly passionate about creating memorable outdoor experiences. From the scenic beauty to the thoughtful planning, everything exceeded expectations. We’d absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, well-organized, and meaningful adventure.

This company is phenomenal. Way to take allll the work out of adventure for me, so I can just focus on making memories. I have hired holiday for 15 years for my school's annual river trip. I could NOT imagine doing this trip with any other guide company and I would NOT recommend any other company for these river except them for your trip. They are ethical, individualized to your needs, authentically fun and just so dang dialed in on every detail, so you can just enjoy the ride! Their interpretation of the history, geology and ecology of the canyons is a delight; I always learn something knew. We are always safe while having a super great time. This company is excellent in everyway.

We just returned from an exhilarating 4-day, 3-night musical rafting trip through the Gates of Lodore with the fabulous bluegrass band Theoretical Blonde performing in mind-blowing settings on and above the river. The guides are expert in navigating the water, friendly and very personable. Every meal is fresh and delicious, and the entire Holiday team is well coordinated and organized, delivering a safe and memorable journey full of laughter, great music and vibes, amazing sights, and adventure!
