I cannot say enough good things about Big Kahuna Tiki Charters! Captain Brandon and Colin were the two best hosts for our bachelorette party and they made every single minute enjoyable and fun! Do yourself a favor and book your next boat charter here because it doesn’t get any better than them!
A group of reunited ladies ready to karaoke! Captain Brandon was so good to us! We did BYOB at sunset in mid-May. He called us in the morning to organize our plan for later that day so we knew exactly where to go at what time.
It was a gorgeous ride!! It was nice to have a bathroom. That was really helpful to make us feel comfortable. And it was nice to have a cooler with ice onboard ready for our drinks.
On the way back, one of my friends lost her phone overboard and Captain Brandon sprung into action with us to help make the best choices from that situation. He went above and beyond!
If you are comparing different companies for your ride, think about how much more enjoyable and worry-free it would be to have someone like Captain Brandon running the boat and being very experienced at being on the water with you. If you don’t have a good captain or have a bad time, you’ll have the wrong kind of story to tell your friends on the other side of it.
My tribe highly recommends Big Kahuna for an easily organized, fun, safe time! We felt safe and that we could let loose on our adventure. We have so many great pics and memories to cherish from our ride.

Highly recommend the Big Kahuna
Boat tours! This was part of my daughter's 16th birthday celebration. Captain Brandon & Captain Russell were great to communicate with. They make you feel like family. Even gave restaurant recommendations & we were not disappointed. Captain Russell went the extra mile announcing my daughter as she entered the boat area. Made her feel special. He is very knowledgeable of the area & plays great music. Would definitely book again.
When I started planning our family charter outing, I wasn’t thinking the tiki boat was ideal for us since we have an eight-year-old with our group. But Brandon spoke with me and sold me on it when he shared that there’s a bathroom on board and lots of space and that he has fishing poles and a license and we’d be able to go fishing and Shelling while playing in water without any riptides. I was sold. It was the big outing of our trip and the seven of us were very excited. The one hiccup was when we arrived and realized the boat we were switched to, would only hold six. Will was our captain that day, and he was very apologetic and the two men folks stayed back and Came on the second round. It all worked out. And will was an absolutely wonderful host. He baited our hooks for us and taught us how to cast and entertained my eight-year-old grandson with conversation. He was a dream. This experience even outdid expectations completely and we cannot wait to do it again.

We had a great tour with captain Brandon! My kids loved the rope swing and he even had some fishing gear for them to use. A storm popped up in the middle of our time, and Brandon was able to get us to a different area quickly so that we could continue the tour by exploring a little seashell island. Would definitely recommend for families visiting Carolina Beach!
