There's something you need to know about the Mastropieri's. They were the seller's agent on my house in Boca which they aggressively marketed as a 2400 square foot house. After we moved in, my wife noticed the square footage listed on Zillow was over 500 square feet smaller, around 1850 feet. When we investigated we learned that they had raised the square footage on the MLS when they listed the house and after it sold they went back in and lowered it. Upon further investigation, we learned they had done this on about a dozen other properties. When I confronted Larry Mastropieri he basically admitted it and said "well if I had been your agent this would never have happened." Umm. Okay? I guess? That's your excuse for committing fraud? I mean, look. It's not only dishonest. It's criminal. And probably a Federal crime if they sold to people from out of state. And the problem for you is that if you choose them as your agent, they put your entire deal in jeopardy of winding up in litigation. So choose wisely. I kind of think you should go with someone honest. Or at least not criminal. Your choice.
