Chris, Ed and team are absolutely fantastic. Their communications are brilliant, their work is flawless from planning permission, plans to execution and they have been of huge help and reassurance over the extension project. They really are an expert one stop shop for all the paperwork and admin surrounding construction projects. We couldn't be happier to have them on side.
Ed provided us with excellent structural plans. He laid out all options clearly, discussed the associated building costs, he was happy to revise the plans according to our feedback. He is very knowledgeable about not only the engineering and building regs aspects but issues on party wall. He saved us quite a bit of money by avoiding unnecessary expenses. He was available throughout the building construction to answer our questions. We are very happy to have worked with Ed. Chris also picks up any issue in a timely manner. Highly recommended!

We used Chris & Ed to help us with architectural plans, structural calcs & building reg drawings. They're both incredibly knowledgeable and were responsive to any questions we asked them. This is the second time I have used Beavertech and would not hesitate to use them again for any planning and structural building drawings. Both Chris and Ed are always available on the phone to assist and my current building project has had a few issues which Ed managed to come up with solutions for within 24hrs!
Chris and the team at Beaver Tech are professional, passionate approachable and patience. Every stage of the process was explained and made easy for me to understand, from planning permision through to Party wall agreement. Cost was compitive and reasonable and there was no surprises.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, we are sorry to hear that you feel you had a very disappointing experience resulting in a 1-star review.
Your project consisted of an upgrade of an existing garage to a habitable room, together with, internal alterations to the existing ground floor layout. We supplied the relevant Building Regulation drawings and structural calculations, which was subsequently fully endorsed by Building Control.
After completion of our service, you later contacted us to advise that one of the steel members proposed were not required as a result of the area in question being exposed by your contractor. You further requested a full refund for the complete project even though the remaining parts were still being completed.
As advised at that time, when carrying out a survey, we can only base our findings based on the visible areas, and without specific areas of the wall in question being exposed, and with the fact that various methods of construction can be used when the property was originally built, we based the design assuming a worst-case scenario. Moreover, this is why we stipulate we work together with our clients and their contractors to the end of the project should there need to be any changes or further clarification etc.
We like to feel we are an honest and genuine company, and as a gesture of goodwill, we offered a refund for the structural calculation in question which you promptly accepted.
We wish you all the best of the remainder of your project and should you or your contactor need to contact us moving forward, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, our service will still remain until the works has been completed.

Whilst I had to wait a while before my work got underway, once service began, it was always dealt with professionally and with added value. I would recommend anyone needing architectural work done to use Beavertech.
I have been extremely impressed with the services that BeaverTech provided on a recent project. Both Chris and Ed has been extremely responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. Always there to answer questions and provide advice, and extremely professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them and will certainly be using them again in the future!
This was the first time I've used them, and they explained everything in detail, eg planning permission, completing 3D drawings and liasing with the local authority if there are any issues.
