I purchased an all day tour starting and ending at Euston Station in London. This was to include The Beatles Story and the Mystical Magical Tour.
Getting off the train at Liverpool Lime Street station, everyone was confused as to where to find the tours. Using google maps and asking locals, we walked what seemed like forever in order to find the location. Considering the price of this excursion, one would think there would have been a representative at the train station to meet the several guests who were all arriving for this tour. A van and driver would have been appreciated. It would have been far more cost-effective to purchase my own train fare and admission to the two tours.
The Beatles story was informative, but would have been more enjoyable, if the temperature weren't so high. It takes place in rooms underground and even though it was a coolish, breezy day, it was stifling hot inside. The exhibits were quite impressive.
The Magical Mystery Tour was a lot of fun with a great tour guide. She offered ample opportunities to disembark and take photos.
Afterwarda we opted to go to the Cavern bar where the Beatles once played, for a bite to eat.
The long walk back to Liverpool train station was disappointing.
It was an extremely long day for everyone.

Do i think this was good value for money,???, personally, no, but i did learn some things about the Beatles that i didnt know, so that kind of made up for it. Very interesting.

Story of the Beatles from their start to break up. Great place if you're a fan of the greatest and most influential band ever. Shop is very good. Visit here first to get an overview. Then book a Magical Mystery tour at the docks. Then use The National Trust to book visits to McCartney's House and Lennon's Aunt Mimi's house.
