I recently had the pleasure of working with Bay Crawl Space & Foundation Repair, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! Our experience started with Preston, who was an outstanding inspector. He conducted a thorough inspection and took the time to explain everything that needed to be done. His honest assessment and presentation of various options for both the work and payment made the decision-making process easy and transparent. The team that worked on our crawlspace encapsulation was fantastic. Three hard-working gentlemen, all named James! Despite the challenges of our tight crawlspace, they were incredibly courteous, diligent, and maintained a tidy work area throughout the project. Cindy, the scheduling manager, was also a gem. She was always helpful and upfront, ensuring we knew when the workers would be on-site. Whenever we had questions about upcoming milestones, she was quick to respond, which put us at ease. We are thrilled with the finished product and the speed with which the work was completed. If anyone needs crawlspace services, I wholeheartedly recommend Bay Crawl Space & Foundation Repair. Edit: Since this review we had Paul and Vinny the electricians come out to wire the de-humidifier we had installed. Both were very pleasant to work with and showed us detailed photos of what was done, where everything was, and answered all of our questions. All around great experience.

Charles was very knowledgeable and explained in detail the problems that need to be addressed. And also discussed options in order of importance. Never felt pressured to have to do everything at once. Also gave a fair price. We are relieved we feel like we are in good hands after getting proposals from multiple companies. Happy we have decided on Bay Foundation!

Preston came to our new home and talked to us about every single issue we wanted to address. He inspected the property, then sat down with us, showed us all of the photos, and then thoroughly explained each one. He gave us a quote for all of the best (and recommended) repairs we could get done, and a quote for the bare minimum of what we could get done. We also went over a couple more custom options we could go with. I did get a quote from another company that was cheaper, but my husband and I felt that the way the repairs should be done suggested by Preston (as opposed to the way the other company was going to do it) will benefit us much more for much longer and will payoff in the long-run. Plus, it is worth noting that Bay does price matches!

From the first contact I made with Bay Crawl Space and Foundation with Samantha and Crista to Ben who came to do the inspection/estimate and then with the whole production and electrical teams who did all the work (Chris W., Mo, Khalil, James D., Jeff and Blake)-yes it takes a village- I FINALLY have peace of mind with our crawl space which had been nothing but a headache for the past 5 years since we purchased the home! (There was no insulation in the crawl space, our electrical bills have been sky high, the doors were poorly constructed, one of the beams was off, and the one dehumidifier- which was not enough for the size of the crawl -was hit or miss if it was working.) The communication from Bay was phenomenal from start to finish which I really, really appreciate. We had multiple solutions recommended which we decided to do including -beam replacement, foundation vent covers, ground foam board insulation, rim joist insulation, 2 new crawl space doors with insulation, a second dehumidifier, new 20-mil GuardianLiner, and 2 new electrical circuits with 3 lights and with a new panel indoors below the breaker box, so that it’s now a lot easier to know if the dehumidifiers are actually working. They were also able to install a moisture sensor which we keep in the home to be able to monitor the humidity in the crawl space without actually going in there which is great! We thought the crews were professional, meticulous and very respectful. And after having had other companies and electricians work in the crawl space previously, it was apparent from the start that this team really knows what they are doing. So needless to say, I am super happy that we decided to go with Bay Crawl Space and Foundation as that whole peace of mind thing is super important. Basically, we really should have called them a lot sooner-like 5 years ago when we bought the house!

Steven and Gaits just came by and started my project. They did an amazing job. They were on time, professional, organized, worked well as a two man team, and made sure their end of the job was good. They answered my questions, checked on things i requested, and gave me a full report on my crawl space. They definitely represented the brand of Bay Crawl space with excellence! I usually dont do reviews like this, but i think they should actually get a $100 bonus for not only the job they did, but the level of respect and professionalism. You dont see that much today. I mean they really made me feel like a valued client! And I appreciate that.

Had Bay come out, Blake and Jeff to come run electricity for the humidifier. Typical call telling me arrival time. They explained how they were going to run the wiring and estimated time of completion. Work was completed promptly and explained the RFI. Job well done.

Updated Post 4/27/2026 Bay Crawl Space returned to followup on some joist work today. Chris Atkinson and Josh Montour arrived on time and worked diligently to install a new joist and “sister” to an existing joist. Chris and Josh were a pleasure to meet and their professionalism and attitudes represent Bay Crawl Space greatly. I now have met several employees of Bay Crawl Space and have found them all to be professional, hardworking, and simply nice people. This continues to the Office folks who have called to setup and confirm appointments. Well done Bay! Updated Post 1/8/26 It’s been a year since Bay Crawlspace Foundation Repair encapsulated our crawlspace and installed 2 humidifiers. Yesterday their technician “NAT” came to inspect their work and to check out the crawl space. He called ahead, arrived shortly after, and updated our humidifier monitor, changed filters, and checked the vents. He was very personable and polite. Afterwards he met with us describing what he did and answered our questions. Excellent representative of the company. We continue to be very happy with the service we have received from Bay. After being in our house for 2 years and never venturing underneath the house to check out our crawl space, we decided to take advantage of two free inspections. We first had a gentleman come out who looked over the crawl space and reported that a good inspection could not be performed because of old insulation hanging down which prevented clear inspection of the framing. We had him clear out the old insulation and provide us with an estimate to replace the insulation and install dehumidifiers. We then contacted Bay Crawlspace and Foundation Repair (Bay)for another inspection and estimate. The two estimates differed substantially. The first one identified several joist he felt should be replaced due to discoloration and noted some mold. The second estimate by Bay identified 2 structural issues, 2 drainage issues, and some mold. Bay Crawlspace considered the discolored joist still in good shape and replacement not necessary. Both companies agreed that we should install dehumidifiers and have the woodwork treated for mold. Although Bay Crawlspace’s estimate was considerably more expensive than the other, we decided to go with Bay primarily to fix the structural issues and to fully encapsulate the crawl space. We were impressed by the knowledge and experience of Jamie our inspector. We had several Bay employees participate in our Crawlspace project. We found each employee to be professional and friendly. Collectively their work ethic was exceptional and their daily communication with us was extremely good, to include calls from front office (Nicole and Katie). Each step was explained to us along with before and after pictures. The structure repairs immediately took care of our squeaky hallway and gave us a greater piece of mind after knowing a major joist that was unsupported on one end had been replaced. We would like to recognize the following employees. Bay should be proud of their representation of the company and their customer relations. Top notch company and we highly recommend their services. Had water in our crawl space from year of development around us changing the flow. Estimate and explanation of work to be done seemed spot on. Dave was good in his refine and discussion of work to be done. Not over doing it and not under covering to address need just for a cheap price . Liked the specialized channel for the drain instead of just piping. The electrical was nice in that they put lights all the way out to sump and have a spare plug there if needed . Nate jimmy aaron j Tyler b and Josh m had install done in a day no sweat. Blake and Jeff from electrical made did nice work. Office team Cindy was good. Called and kept us informed and was understanding when asked for an extra day to look things over due to some travel for work

My wife and I had a great experience with the introduction to Bay crawlspace foundation repair. Our advisor was Charles Vann, He was professional and knowledgeable and was actually able to pull us out of an agreement we had with a JES foundation. He shared valuable knowledge pertaining to a mold situation in our crawlspace that we didn’t know after talking to JES. He informed us that when mold goes dormant that doesn’t mean it is not still causing damage. JES wanted us to encapsulate our crawlspace without treating the mold, telling us that once it goes dormant it won’t be an issue however that is not true when mold goes dormant, it continues to eat and destroy your wood, so basically the problem is not solved. It also continues to affect the air being pulled into your home. He started with a full inspection underneath of the house, followed by a discussion of what was going on, and the steps that needed to be taken to fix the problem. He was quick, and he was not pushy, which was the highlight of my experience. He didn’t come in here, not caring about what was really going on and just trying to pull the most amount of money out of us as possible. He seemed like he genuinely cared and even gave us options, that would suffice if we couldn’t afford to do the full encapsulation. Our biggest issue is the water pouring into our home during rain and he knew that and wanted to address the main issue vs encapsulating it while it’s still leaking, the way JES suggested. I couldn’t be happier with the service and knowledge he brought and very respectful!! He even came back to grab a bottle of water he’d forgotten as to not leave trash! I will absolutely update after the job is completed but my wife and I feel we’re in good hands and can not wait to see the outcome!

From Chris who came and did the original inspection and quote, to James who treated our crawl space for mold, to Cedrick, Mikkel, and Malik who did the repair work on our compromised beams ... all called before coming, all showed up on time, and all took and emailed us pictures of the work. I appreciated that when the construction crew ran into problems, they didn't just press ahead, but consulted with their supervisor for the best solution.
