Really nice tour! even though the girl that did the tour was quite a beginner, she did her best to explain and make us feel welcome! So 10/10 from us.

Édes borok kedvelőjeként a kóstoló alkalmával zömmel azzal készültek, de a szárazak is finomak voltak. A környezet szép, és gondolván a családokra, játszótér is rendelkezésre áll. Családbarát és kedves kiszolgálás.
This was my second visit to the Basilicus winery .. my last was in January of 2024. Not only do I very much like many of wines produced here, but I also think that free-lance winery sommelier Gergely is one of the best in the business that I have ever encountered. His enthusiasm and knowledge is without bounds.
He also offered delivering my purchases to the guest house where I stayed in Tokaj since I rode a bicycle to the tasting (for obvious reasons). What amazing service all around!
Since I usually travel to Tokaj by car from my home in France, I was able to purchase dozens of bottles of various wines. One of these from 2014 I had tried last year, and this time I bought all of the stock still available (16 bottles) because it is a very unique Aszu and also was very reasonably priced.
I can highly recommend this tasting experience. Some people have mentioned that they were disappointed to find only very neutral pretzels at the tasting while other tasting rooms offer items such as cheese and cold cuts (Salami, etc.).
Well, if you are serious about tasting wine you really shouldn't have anything to eat as it will change the way you experience the wines depending on what cheese or salami you have just put in your mouth!
Although it’s always a great experience to introduce Tokaj-Hegyalja to those visiting for the first time, we are especially delighted when knowledgeable wine lovers come to taste our wines.

Pincelátogatást és borkóstolást kértünk vacsorával. Ettől sokkal többet kaptunk. Nagyon élveztük a mindenre kiterjedő bemutatót-előadást angolul, a finom borokat, a kellemes környezetet. Fantasztikus volt a hangulat, amelyet tetőzött, hogy mindezt egy igazán környezettudatos-fenntartható borászatban kaptuk.
EN: We booked a cellar visit and wine tasting with dinner – but we received so much more. We thoroughly enjoyed the comprehensive presentation in English, the delicious wines, and the pleasant atmosphere. The whole experience was fantastic, made even more special by the fact that it all took place in a truly environmentally conscious and sustainable winery.
DE: Wir hatten eine Kellereibesichtigung und Weinprobe mit Abendessen gebucht – aber wir haben viel mehr bekommen. Wir haben die umfassende Präsentation auf Englisch, die köstlichen Weine und die angenehme Atmosphäre sehr genossen. Die Stimmung war fantastisch und wurde noch dadurch übertroffen, dass all dies in einem wirklich umweltbewussten und nachhaltigen BIO- Weingut stattfand.
Nagyon köszönjük a kedves szavakat! Számunkra is öröm volt, hogy vendégül láthattunk Benneteket, és külön örülünk, hogy a borainkon túl az egész élményt értékeltétek – a történeteket, a hangulatot és a környezettudatos szemléletünket is. Nagyon finom borokat kóstoltunk. A Szamorodni volt a kedvenc. Vettünk is belőle.
We had a brilliant experience here in Basilicus back in 2022 with the lovely English-speaking sommelier. The wines were of very high quality and we consequently bought 4 different bottles to take home. Furthermore, the fact that having our (well-behaved) then-5-month-old with us was absolutely no problem for them was a huge relief, as not all wineries we've visited since we became parents have been so accommodating. (Though, now she's 3, and a handful, I'm unsure if she'd be so welcome if we were to visit any time soon, hehe!)
We are delighted to hear that you still have such fond memories of your wine tasting experience at Basilicus, even after a few years.
If you visit us again with your now 3-year-old little one, we would be happy to welcome you. By the time they turn five, they might enjoy our playground even more!

Első borkóstolónkon voltunk náluk. A boraik nagyon finomak voltak, nagyon sok érdekesség hallhattunk. Elképesztően kedvesek voltak. A transzferben is tudtak tokajról segíteni. Csak ajánlani tudom!
