We hired Ace Construction / Basements Etc. to finish our basement and could not be happier. We had a general idea of the design we wanted, and Tyler and Chase made a few suggestions that made it much better. Every contractor, including the framers, electricians, HVAC, drywallers, flooring, painters and finish carpentry were all top notch. The entire process was professional and respectful. All questions were promptly answered. We were kept informed on every step of the project. They stayed on schedule and within the budget with no surprises. The final touch-up and cleaning left us with exactly the basement we wanted. I highly recommend them.

I was referred to Tyler and Ace Construction / Basements Etc. due to their previous work at a relative's home. I was thoroughly impressed by the degree they were able to make the basement feel part of the original house. After moving to our new home my wife and I proceeded to get quotes across various contractors. Tyler and his crew was knowledgeable, code compliant, and happy to be there. The experience speaks volume with the amount of detail and work put into finishing the basement to ensure everything flowed, but also meet expectations. I work within the regulatory space and paid extra attention through the walkthrough to see what the contractor points out regarding code and compliance throughout the process. Tyler was able to show this knowledge and earned our trust throughout the walk through. We have shown the neighbors the space and have nothing but praise for Ace. They were able to make our vision of a bar, gym/sauna, and media room come to life. I whole heartedly recommend Ace Construction for your needs as they will install according to code and be up front with costs. Our Inspector and the city inspector was able to complete their inspections very quickly due to the attention of detail this team exemplifies in their work. All the sub-contractors I've talked throughout our basement project had nothing but praise for Ace which says a lot about how they treat their team and the quality of their craft.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience. We brought in three contractors for bids, and before we had any quotes I knew we would go with basements etc. Their knowledge and expertise was evident even during the walkthrough. I assumed their bid would be the highest because they were so quality, and I was ready to pay. However, their bid came back lower than the other two—one of which wanted us to get our own permits. They were quick, clean, and communicative. I believe the project took 8 weeks starts to finish. Cannot recommend enough.

Their team was great at helping us come up with ideas we hadn’t considered for our space. Loved working with these guys. They understand that this is YOUR house they are dealing with and take into account all preferences with *security* of the home during construction, *communication* while the project is ongoing, and any other input you have. I’m definitely more “hands on and perfectionist mindset”. They did a great job keeping me up to speed and happy. Yes, some things had to be “fixed” during construction, but show me a project where that doesn’t have to happen. The fact of the matter is when there were preferential things to fix, they got it done, and quickly! We also made lots of changes to the project as it went along and these guys did a great job to meet our preferences and needs as we threw curveballs at them. Special shout-out to Tyler and Chase for a job well done. Thank you! Would definitely use again if we have another basement build out project in the future. Great customer service!

It has been almost a year since Tyler and his team finished our basement, and I don't know we we did without a finished basement for so long. The quality of work is great! The team worked quickly, but didn't rush anything or leave things half done. Tyler especially was super responsive and happy to help with my many questions. During the bidding process, Tyler was upfront and came prepared with numerous ideas to help me maximize the living space, whether it be fitting in extra storage closets, extending hall space, ideas for electrical, etc. Truly very happy with our experience.

After talking to a couple of other companies, we decided to talk to Ace. Tyler was really on the ball. It was apparent from our first meeting with him that he knew what he was talking about and was so organized and efficient. Then we met Bret at the design center and it got even better when he made some suggestions. They were on time, always working, and their subcontractors were just as good. We have been using the basement now for several months and are so glad and grateful for the fine work they did. They also built a storage mezzanine in the garage where we had such high ceilings and wasted space. it has added 2500 cu. ft. of storage area to our home. Fine, fine job.

Basement turned out great and we are extremely pleased with the work done. We had five quotes for the basement and Ace Basement was the lowest and the most professional. The main reason we went with Ace was the creative solutions to build what we envisioned for our basement rather than the layout the builder provided. We had a few hiccups along the way with the shortages on everything during 2021 but Tyler and Chase communicated great with me along the way. Overall, I would recommend them.

Ace Construction finished my basement and I worked with Tyler. I had an awesome experience. I loath having to find my own contractors so I wanted a general contractor to handle it. Luckily I choose Ace because they only do a quality job, they give you an accurate quote, and they take care of everything. I didn't have to worry about the basement throughout the entire process (it was amazing). They were great about walking me through options and considerations so I could feel like I'd gotten the most from their knowledge and experience. I'll likely use them again in the future.
