After my Great Dane and my Boston terrier mix ran off into the woods for 5 days, when they returned and were healthy enough I knew they needed a spa day! They smell so good even my car smells nice now. Nails clipped and cute bandanas too. We’ll definitely be back! The staff really feels like family.
We’ve been bringing our Westie to Bark of the Town for years now, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. From the very first visit, we knew we’d found something special.
The grooming skills here are truly outstanding. Our Penny always comes out looking absolutely beautiful – her coat is perfectly trimmed, her face is shaped just right, and she even smells wonderful. The groomers clearly know what they’re doing and take real pride in their work.
You can tell they genuinely love dogs, and our girl is always excited to see them, which says everything. Recommended!
I am incredibly grateful to bark of the town for helping my grandmothers dogs in their time of need. Due to my grandmothers situation (that her family is now fixing) her house, her bills, and her dogs were in dire need of TLC. While I was boarding them because she was hospitalized and had no heat. Kathy and the staff not only worked with our boarder, but also was able to salvage a majority of our Australian shepherds matted fur. I’ve never seen him look so good! I am incredibly grateful for the staffs understanding and I certainly recommend them highly. Thank you bark of the town! We will definitely be back.
I cannot say enough good things about Bark of the Town Pet Spa. From the time you call to make your dogs appointment to the time you walk through the doors of the salon you are greeted by the happiest most pleasant workers possible. I have been bringing my puppy Remi here since she was 11 weeks old which was 3 weeks from picking her up from Welcome Acres for her adoption. All the groomers seem so nice and pleasant but the one groomer that Remi sees every 4 weeks is Heather. Heather is the most bubbly, happy person you would ever see. You can truly see that she enjoys her job both in her personality but also in the wonderful work she does in grooming Remi. My new puppy Willow also gets groomed at Bark of the Town now. This groomer is 1.5 hours from my house but I would rather drive the two hours and get a wonderful grooming for my dogs then go to someplace closer to me. I am happy to say that both of my puppies that I have adopted from Welcome Acres go to Bark of the Town for their grooming every 4 weeks. Bark of the Town makes sure that you are kept up to date on when your puppy will be ready for you to pick them up. They also make sure that you are fully pleased with their work before you pick up your dog. This groomer specifically Heather goes above and beyond what you would expect from a groomer . At Remis grooming in November when I picked her up Heather let me know that it seemed like Remi might be getting an ear infection and she was careful trimming her ears. The following day I made an appointment with the vet and it was confirmed that Remi indeed did have an ear infection . Thanks to the thorough observation from Heather, Remi’s ear infection was caught before it got bad because Remi wasn’t showing any signs of having the infection. I would definitely recommend this groomer to anyone that wants to get their dog groomed knowing they are in good hands and will be taken care of with the utmost most care and will have the cutest hair cut possible. There have been numerous occasions while out in public that I have been stopped and asked where I get my dogs hair cut and I tell them Bark of the Town Pet Spa. I say it is a little bit of a drive but it is well worth it when you see the service they provide for your dog.
Bark of the Town does a great job with my husky. I'm always able to get an appointment without a long wait and I love that they don't keep dogs there all day -- they start grooming as soon as you drop off your pet and they call for pickup as soon as they're done. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.
The Bark of the Town Team is an extremely knowledgeable group. They are caring, fun and professional. They personalize each interaction and take action with any special needs for dogs of all sizes. I was concerned that I’d be able to find a groomer for XL breeds and was referred to this team by another dog mom. They have been like family ever since. When I lost Maverick last year I received a personal telephone call from the owner expressing sympathy. They are a class act and have my loyalty. I am grateful for their service.
