I had a really good experience with Balba Renta De Autos in Playa del Carmen. I booked through WhatsApp and the process was easy, including sending documents for verification. There was a mix-up at delivery and the first car was manual when I needed an automatic, but they quickly brought me a different car and made sure I was taken care of.
What I appreciated most was their honesty and customer service. I like that they run their business with integrity. Luis was wonderful 🥹
The car worked perfectly, the return was easy, and overall I would definitely rent from them again. I recommend just confirming automatic vs manual ahead of time, 🤯🤯🤯 but they are kind, responsive, and fair people to work with.
I rent a car from Balba car rental during my extended holiday in Playa de Carmen. They were truly the best. I first rented the car for two weeks, and then requested it for longer. Daniel and Luis were both very accommodating. The Nisan Versa I rented was almost new and worked performed perfectly during the entire 60+ days I had it. The prices and insurance were as quoted as well as the $300 deposit that was returned upon returning the vehicle. Highly recommend and would rent from them again on my return. D. Gordon

Primera vez alquilando un auto en México. Totalmente recomendado no tengan miedo de alquilar en este lugar. RÁPIDO, FÁCIL Y ECONÓMICO. La unidad q alquilamos hicimos 1600 km y no tuvimos ningún problema. Si devolves el auto en condiciones te devuelven el depósito en garantía enseguida (lo mejor podes hacerlo en efectivo y sin tarjeta). Lleven a nuestros amigos algún billete de su país que los coleccionan.
Nos resolvieron en media hora y nos rescataron de una emergencia fueron muy profesionales y respetaron todo acuerdo ampliamente recomendables sin duda volvería a rentar carros con ellos y sin letras chiquitas

Rented a Nissan with Balba over my 4 day stay in Playa Del Carmen. They bring the car to your hotel and pick it back up for a small fee (accompanying you to the airport for a very convenient price vs taxi). The organization was very smooth and it felt safe throughout - yes, strongly recommended over big rental car companies!

I rent out a 7 passenger vehicle for 14 days , best service ever, you can’t go wrong with Balba, highly recommended, we drove all the way around Cancun-Playa del Carmen-Tulum no issues, very friendly staff!

Impresentables, una hora antes del cierre del dia me dicen que no me pueden alquilar el vehículo , el cual ya me habían asignado dsps de pasarles toda la documentación requerida .

Revisando nuestra conversación, notamos que la cotización se inició el día 21 y hubo algunos lapsos sin respuesta hasta días posteriores (24, 25 y 27). El día de ayer retomamos contacto con una nueva solicitud para fechas distintas, y justo al momento de procesar tu reserva, la unidad disponible fue apartada por otro cliente.
