I had my 2nd RF microneedling session with Dr Pourtaheri. He was so great at getting me as numb and comfortable as ever. He also Did a laser Genesis on top of the Microneedling which was wonderful. My skin feels so tight. I'm so happy and beyond satisfied with my results after these first two weeks! I definitely recommend this service! His staff was also very helpful.

I went from a painful ugly scar of 6 inches to an almost invisible line which will will continue to fade over time. I would give Dr Pourtaheri 1,000 stars if I could! I first met him at his Santa Rosa location where he did some Genesis lasers on me. They were easy, pain free, no down time. I was happy with my results. My 28 year old daughter who lives in San Fransisco has always wanted a nose job so I made her an appt with Dr Pourtaheri office in the heart of San Francisco. Both of his offices are absolutely beautiful accompanied by a wonderful staff. We arrived at the appointment . He was punctual and spent so much time with her. He answered all her questions and explained all the options but more importantly showed her a whole different view of her very European nose. After we left I looked at her and said so what do you think ... she looked at me with the biggest smile and said I LOVE my nose. He showed her the beauty in her own nose. Thats when I knew he was the real deal. He fully gained my trust after that appt. I decided to make an appt with him to deal with some bad work I had done e a few years prior. After my consult he decided to go with some AccuTite and RF microneedling on my face ( see photos below for pre and post ). The procedure it self went great in his office. I felt like he explained everything very clearly and really really took his time. I was very happy and satisfied with my result. He then put me on a new daily skin care routine with the ZO product line he carries in office. I loved every thing he picked out and my skin has been looking glowy and amazing. After I was fully healed from that we discussed doing some under eye filler. I was very apprehensive about that as again I've had it done before and was not happy with the result. Again trusting Dr Pourtheri I agreed. His technique was pretty pain free and he really got in there to all the nooks and cranny's and filled that area in beautifully. I was so pleased I decided to do my lips next. I have to say again he took the time and really made the perfect lips. I'm 53 years old so I'm looking for a natural look and every thing he has done has been on point with my expectations. He really listens to what YOU want. I'm very happy with my experience and have told all my friends and happily refer everyone to him. He is a true gem and a master at his craft. Thank you Dr Pourtaheri for making me feel beautiful.

.... They deleted my post to cover thier failures. Navid refuses To be man. didn't have spine to call me himself . Calling medical board. Well I'm ashamed and disappointed. My pcp told me Navid could do the surgery and I got documents to prove it. Lost a lot of money on copay I had to sell my stuff to afford. Appointment wasn't bad. But refused without cause or reason I wing my condition is terrible. And needing surgery. I got an abandoned by BAE in cold manner. No answers. No specific reason as to why. Spent half my day on round trip because my pcp said he would and could. It was a lie. My Dr got lied too I got lied too. They stole my okay money by billing me for nothing and used my own money too from ssdi. So now embezzlement which misuse of federal funds .and illegal billing. A high bill for services offered but not received. The secretary was mean and not nice. And othered me no reasons as why they did what they did. I was Abandoned deformed and in horrible pain and can't sleep or wear glasses. Moved to Dixon to be closer to bay. Got new pcp now and new health insurance and now have to find a different surgeon. Me and old pcp looked for months for decent surgeon. All for nothing. A lot of money lost for nothing. They like to screw over disabled defiled people with hesitation and take thier money and vanish and bail with reason. I'm hurt. Let down. And disgusted. Absolutely terrible. And cold people from that office . Never coming back be careful everyone. Don't trust me this office. Now I'm calling medical Board and my insurance as well. As is my family. I got totally betrayed . Time and money lost I won't get back. Negative star if I could. I got treated bad Navid wouldn't even call me himself. At all to tell. No honor. No honor at all. He had a lady to a man's job for him that he was supposed to do . I wasn't even worth a phone call to him. He liked my insurance money though. A man not worthy of honor or respect.

Had my first appointment today. And I was very impressed with how clean and modern and fancy the office was. My medical transportation got me there very early. And the Dr was kind enough to see me early. I was most grateful for that. I felt a little bad as I gave out too much information at once. ( my fault) I should have slowed my speech a little more. Dr was very kind and straight to the point . The staff were very nice and polite and hoping I'm blessed enough to get approved for surgery. I was very happy to go a non student hospital. Hoping the best. First appointment was a very good. Only 5 star review all around. I'm happy with my first impression.

No professionalism or respect I'm writing this review to add to what hopefully people will read in order to be aware of the lack of respect this office, and Dr Pourtaheri, gave me. I met with him December 15th and he had an emergency phone call in the midst of my consultation before he gave me any details of how he would take care of my procedure, or the cost to do so. I waited until after the holidays per receptionist Jenna's request, and then one, two, and three months became what is now four and a half. He was paid for a consultation but has been so disgustingly disrespectful to me since. I actually feel that he did me a favor because I would never have this person ever work on me...and in reading other reviews, I'm trying to add to the list to make sure that people hopefully heed our warnings. I wish I had done so in advance of my visit so I would have not wasted any time. I have endlessly contacted them in the last few months and finally filed a grievance with my insurance. I only wish that I could give them zero stars to reflect my actual opinion of this office and doctor.

WARNING: Learn from My Costly Mistake! If you're considering plastic surgery, heed my cautionary tale about Dr. Navid Pourtaheri of Bay Area Esthetics Plastic Surgery. Trusting him was the worst decision I've made, and I don't want anyone else to suffer the same fate. Initially, I believed in Dr. Pourtaheri's good intentions, but his lack of skill and competence shattered my hopes for a successful outcome. From the outset, he misled me about recovery times and expectations, setting the stage for a series of disastrous results. I shelled out over $20k for what was promised to be a transformative V-line jaw surgery, lip lift, and genioplasty. However, a year later, I'm left with nothing but regret and a laundry list of botched procedures: - Unsightly chin indents and asymmetry that defy the very purpose of the surgeries. - Muscle detachment in the jaw area, necessitating further surgery to rectify, exacerbated by ineffective attempts at correction with filler. - Poorly placed, conspicuous stitches on my nose. - A visible, poorly placed lip scar that CO2 treatments failed to rectify. - A botched, uneven lip lift, for which Dr. Pourtaheri conveniently shifted blame onto me, despite being aware of previous fat injections in the area. My experience with Dr. Pourtaheri has left me profoundly disillusioned and filled with regret. Trusting in his expertise was a costly mistake that I implore you not to repeat. Spare yourself the pain, disappointment, and financial loss. Learn from my ordeal and seek out a qualified, reputable surgeon for any cosmetic procedures. Your well-being and appearance deserve better. Don't make the same mistake I did--choose wisely.

Response to owner: I absolutely sure the woman who answered the phone said her name is Delilah. I am not a patient b/c she never called me back, even after several messages left including a text message. My experience with this office was less than stellar. Called and spoke with the receptionist (said her name was Delilah) to ask if they treated ice pick scars. She told me she would ask the doctor and call me back. I told her that I have other stuff I would like done, but that would be down the road. I didn't hear back and the next day I tried calling again. I received a text that they're busy and will call me right back. I texted back that I was following up about my question the day before. Never heard back from them. This review is not about the doctor - he may be terrific, but I will never know.
