Jœ taught an excellent and easy to follow class, but by no means is crafting makgeolli easy! I had no trouble finding the location and lucky me I ended up with a private class as the other registrant could not make it last minute. I learned so much and I am hoping my batch of makgeolli is successful. I already enjoy drinking makgeolli more than soju, but after learning about wonju and cheongju and tasting it, it’s makgeolli all the way! His space is not only aesthetically pleasing but very clean. The only downside is getting addicted to the snacks he has which you can’t just find anywhere in Seoul! I look forward to my next trip to Seoul to come for some tastings and maybe even try one of the advanced courses.
