I had an incredible experience at this gem. The moment the food arrived, I realised how authentic and carefully crafted everything was. We tried bastilla, fish tagine, and green tea, and everything was exceptional in flavour, balance, and presentation. Each bite revealed tiny details and layers of care, even when the ingredients looked simple. Special thanks to the chef for his attention to both service and detail. Would come back whenever possible for sure!
I've been at Azou first time many years ago and I've never forgotten how good it was, so I was deeply hoping to find the same quality. It was honestly even better than I remembered. Food is delicious, all perfectly balanced with amazing spices and in armony with vegetables flavours. The atmosphere is lovely, very traditional and elegant, the Chef is very nice and makes you feel home, while being very discreet, and so is the staff. We also had a very good bottle of red wine, dessert (home made raspberry sorbet - amazing!) and dessert wine. Highly recommend, I'll be there soon again for sure.
I've been before and had great meals but I came with the family over the weekend and was appalled by the service level. Upon entering we informed the staff (perhaps the chef? As he was taking orders but also in the kitchen half the night) we had a reservation, from there we were pointed to the corner and said over there and 'you're welcome' in a dry pan manner which came off sarcastic. The hostess walked in front to go grab menus but then went in the kitchen and we just stood around for minutes wondeirng which table was ours, which added to confusion. Once settled, the chef took our order which was still very much in an unfriendly tone. It took ages to get our wine, he had to ask about it then the hostess finally brought it. Food came, food was great as always, the one delight of the night. Then once settled, we had to ask the hostess 4x for the check, as she continued to make coffees, clean tables, bring food to other tables. Only when we put our coats and and started to head to the door did we finally get the bill. I hope we just came on an off night as in the past we've had good experiences but the service level was abhorrent and not somewhere I'd want to bring my visiting parents again.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I visited Azou Restaurant this weekend and was absolutely blown away! The food quality, flavours, and presentation were exceptional — every bite was rich, authentic, and full of soul. It truly felt like a culinary journey through North Africa — the kind of experience that makes you feel like you’ve travelled to the moon and back.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was just as impressive as the food. You can really tell how much love and passion go into every dish.
Highly recommend Azou to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience — I’ll definitely be back soon!
Highly recommended! The food is very nice and tasty. The place is very nice and seems very traditional to the North Africa culture. Food is tasty and delicious and they serve generous portions. The prices are fair and the service in general was great!! Recommendation before you go, if possible book a table online or by telephone as it is a small place so it could get fully book considering as well the openings closing times. They will respond your email or call in a good time frame. Many thanks Azou for your hospitality.
Hello,
I celebrated my birthday at your restaurant last June, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
First of all, the behaviour of the waiters was unpleasant. We were rushed multiple times when ordering and eating, which made the evening stressful. Additionally, some of my guests, who are smokers, were followed outside by the staff when they went out to smoke between courses and were told to return quickly inside to “free up the table.” I would like to point out that I had reserved a large table for the entire evening specifically to avoid this kind of issue.
Furthermore, the table was cleared while several people had not finished their meals, and some wished to take the leftovers home. The manager also did not respect the timing for the arrival of my cake, which disrupted the organization of the evening.
Finally, and most shockingly, some staff members made insulting remarks in Arabic, assuming we wouldn’t understand the language. This behavior deeply surprised me and demonstrates a lack of professionalism.
I would like to note that the food itself was good, but the staff and the overall service made the experience very disappointing.

Bonjour,
Lovely experience at Azou! I've been there twice now. The food was incredible both times, I had a couscous, tajine and a couple starters, all were even better than I expected. The service was on point, attentive but never overbearing, the wine selection is great as well.
Looking forward to my next meal there!
