I had a dead tree that needed to be removed and Caleb was able to accommodate without me being present. This was a huge timesaver for me as I was out of town. Their quote was reasonable and you couldn't even tell that a tree was there. I'd definitely recommend Essential Tree Care and will be no doubt use them again when needed.
Hired Caleb Hughes and his crew at Essential Tree Care to remove and trim trees on my property in Flagstaff. They were reasonably priced, knowledgeable, friendly, easy to work with, efficient, completed work in a timely fashion, and skilled causing no problems.
I would hire this company again and recommend them to everyone. Excellent work done, great communication, polite workers and great cleanup when the job was done.
Caleb was very god with communication, came out and gave a bid. We change the bid slightly to trim for one tree and removal for two trees that had died. They arrived on time the day expected, his crew did a great job, cleaned the yard afterward. They did a great service at a great price. We got three bids, he was the lowest and very honest. Highly recommend and will use again for trimming when needed.
Caleb Hughes is a certified tree arborist and we value his advice in caring for our trees. He and his hard working team recently removed 3 very large ponderosas and extensively trimmed numerous other ponderosas. They did a fabulous job, were courteous and great people. Having to take down huge ponderosa’s is heart breaking but they were becoming a safety to our home. Caleb was so graceful and understanding during his initial walk through of our property!
They brought a crane out to help with the size of our trees due to proximity of our home and greenhouse. Caleb and his crew were so kind and professional! They safely took the ginormous crowns down with the crane and them being up in the trees, moving them over our house into the street so they could strip the trees down and process them. Then took the remaining parts of the pines down to their stumps - two had a chain around them from when our house was moved up here on I17 when it was a two lane dirt highway. They were also so thoughtful to trim a tree in our backyard with many dead branches!
They went above and beyond with their work and took extra care to clean up our property, our street, and neighbors properties. Their rate was very fairly priced given what we watched them do. If you need tree removal or trees trimmed, this is who you want to use. I have had trees done in the past and the caliber of work Caleb and his crew did, pails in comparison. We are very grateful to Caleb and his crew ♥️
Call these guys!!! They are the absolute best, most professional, most knowledgeable, most helpful. I tried several other tree services before, all producing nothing but disappointment and frustration. Don't waste your time with anyone else.

Caleb and his crew are great! They work incredibly hard and are fair with their pricing! They work as a team so at any given time multiple things are getting done at once, pruning, tree removal, all while the tree debris are being mulched & the area continually being cleared of the falling tree debris. We had a few trees removed that were approx 70’ tall & two others pruned of about the same height. Caleb & his crew work so hard, they were able to complete all of that in one day! Super friendly and easy to schedule with! I highly recommend this company!!! I have them saved to my phone for future needs! My only regret is not calling them sooner!

Over the winter, 2 very large trees had been blown over and positioned itself that could be considered dangerous. After making contact with, Caleb responded quickly with a return call and visit to assess the situation. I am limited on funds and Caleb gave me a honorable and respectable quote.
His crew even took down a near by pine tree that was dead and just about ready to fall over.
I wasn’t able to be present at the time of service. But when I arrived home in the evening, I was very pleased to find almost no sign that Caleb and his crew were there. I thought I would come home to find broken branches and sticks everywhere, but they left everything very clean. They even left me a nice pile of rounds that I could use next winter for to wood stove. I will be using Caleb and his crew at Essential Tree Service in the future.

We needed several large trees pruned and some removed from our property. We were on a short timeline to get this complete, and Essential Tree Care responded immediately to our call and came out the same day to give us an estimate. They came the very next day and completed the job for us. Essential Tree Care was professional, super responsive, and did an outstanding job. Not only did our trees look amazing afterwards, they did a phenomenal clean up job on our property. On top of that, they’re just really nice people. Caleb and his tree trimming crew did a great job trimming and crown cleaning 5 of my ponderosa pines. They were very safety conscious and through. They arrived on time, did a walk around with me and had 5 trees trimmed and 1 removed in 3-1/2 hours. They cleaned my roof with a blower and cleaned up all the cut branches and hayked everything away. I highly recommend Essential Tree Care.
