Had taken my Audi A5 for a transmission check as I was suspecting some kind of transmission issue due to few symptoms. They did the check and couldn’t replicate the issue that I was facing and mentioned they can’t see any issues with how the transmission is working at present. They didn’t charge me for this service, which was really nice of them. Cameron was great in explaining what he observed during inspection and provided some advice including that I should change my tyres due to them (front and rear) being of different speed and treads and that it could cause other problems in the future. The receptionist was also very friendly.

Took my car to 3 different places before this and spent thousands with no real fix. Brought it here and they actually figured out the problem and fixed it properly. Had my transmission serviced months ago, noticed that the pan gasket was weeping after I serviced the car. I rang them and explained the situation, they squeezed me in a week later and replaced the gasket which the said was a manufacturing fault they see occasionally with a coating. All done at no charge which is outstanding in my opinion. Very easy to deal with both times, very happy to recommend someone who is happy to stand by their workmanship which is rare commodity now days.

I had my Volkswagen Golf transmission fixed here. I was charged about $700 for the repair. Five months later it needed to be fixed again. When I emailed the company asking why the fix didn't last very long it was ignored by Pam. After emailing a second time I was advised Cameron would call. When Cameron called me he backed his craftmanship and offered a return to base warranty. I could not intellectual fault what Cameron was telling me on the phone as I do not have a mechanical background, but I still found it odd that it broke down so quickly after leaving a workshop that is meant to specialise in transmissions. I decided to have it re-repaired at our long time mechanic (who doesn't specialise in transmissions) who did it for half the price and six months later it is still working perfectly.

Hi Alex

We’d like to clarify a few important points.

All warranty terms are clearly outlined on the back of your invoice, which requires the vehicle to be returned to our workshop for inspection. When you contacted us, Cameron spoke with you and offered for the vehicle to come back so we could properly assess and resolve the issue, especially as it was an unusual situation.

As the vehicle was not returned to us and was instead repaired elsewhere, we were not given the opportunity to inspect or confirm whether the issue was related to the original repair. For this reason, we are unable to cover any costs incurred through another mechanic.

We stand by our workmanship and always aim to resolve any concerns fairly. Our team was more than willing to assist within our warranty process, and we remain available should you wish to discuss this further.

Had a slight scraping sound as I was driving in my 2017 GT Mustang took it in to Automatic Tranissions R Us and left it. Got a call back saying defo diff issues, so it was a no brainer left it with the crew and absolutely did a stellar job on the diff. Booked in for a drive test with the team to diagnose an issue where my car wouldn’t change up a gear at speed. I initially thought it was a gearbox problem, so I was very surprised when they explained it likely wasn’t. Instead, they suggested it could be related to the fuel intake or exhaust system and gave me a contact to have it checked further. The first thing replaced was the fuel filter and it completely fixed the problem! Really appreciate their honest assessment and guidance. I would highly recommend the team.

I went in today thinking I had an automatic transmission issue, but the team checked everything thoroughly and let me know it wasn’t the transmission at all, it was actually something else. They were really honest about it and even recommended another mechanic who could help with the specific problem and didn’t charge me! They called me to explain everything clearly, were super accommodating, and made the whole experience stress-free. Excellent customer service. My Subaru Impreza was towed to AT’R’US after a highway breakdown. Investigations revealed a serious issue as a result of another mechanic’s error when servicing the front differential. Cameron contacted the mechanic and organised AT’R’US to repair the car with no charge to me. I highly recommend contacting AT’R’US if you have issues with your transmission.
