Auben Realty is no good.
DO NOT LEASE WITH AUBEN REALTY THEY ARE NOTHING BUT SCAMERS AND IF THEY COULD KEEP YOU BOUND WITH THEM THEY WILL. THEY FALSLEY ADVERTIZED A PROPERTY CENTRAL AIR AND HEAT THEN CHARGED ME FOR USING A GAS FURNACE I DIDNT KNOW I WAS USING FOR HEAT. THEY CAUSE ME TO LOSE FOOD FROM JULY UNTIL SEPTEMBER BY NOT REPLACING THE REFRIGERATOR IN A TIMELY MANNER AND WOULD NOT REINBURSE ME FOR MY LOSS. I WAS TOLD TO MAKE A CLAIM WITH MY RENTERS INSURANCE BUT THEY DENIED MY CLAIM SAYING IT WASNT COVERED. THESE PEOPLE ONLY GAVE ME A $75 CREDIT ON THE RENT. THEY HAVE A VERY HIGH TURN OVER AND THEY GIVE YOU YOUR LEASE IN A TIME FRAME WHERE YOU DONT HAVE TIME TO READ IT. ITS A 14 DAY WINDOW TO GET THE PLACE. WHEN I DID READ THE LEASE I SAW HOW RIGGED UP IT IS ON COST ON THE TENNANT FOR EVERY LITTLE THING. DO NOT TRUST AUBEN REALTY. YOU WILL REGRET IT. THEY OFFERED ME A MONTH TO MONTH LEASE AFTER I SIGNED IT THEY CANCELED IT AND SAID IT WAS A MISTAKE AND FORCED A 12 MONTH LEASE ON ME THEN STATED I COULD MOVE BUT IT WILL BE A $75 REGISTRATION FEE AND I FORFEIT MY DEPOSIT. THIS IS THEIR WAY OF KEEPING PEOPLE BOUND WITH THEM AND GETTING MORE MONEY. THERE IS SO MUCH TO SAY ABOUT AUBEN REALTY. # RUN THE OTHER WAY. I PAID $315 FOR THEM TO TAKE THE HOUSE I AM IN OFF THE MARKET BUT THE LEASE SAYS I AGREE THAT I PAID $150. THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

The Auben Realty Company in Augusta, Ga is by far the WORSE realty company I have ever delt with. My move in inspection indicated kitchen drawer broke, l sent the sheet to the company 2 days after moving in. Well i moved out and got billed for kitchen drawer broke, WT?.. I resent the same move in inspection sheet back to Auben 5-7 days ago. well a representative just called and said the inspector open the drawer and couldn't close it, DA the drawer is BROKE!

Absolutely trash. They treat their Midtown residents terribly. Speaking from experience they have violated my lease at least 3 times in the 12 month duration of my stay here. Our laundry facilities are currently down, there is a literal wall of black mold in the building I live in, and anyone working in the leasing office is usually little to no help. With rent going up 50$ next year this is completely outrageous. Hoping to just get my deposit back and get the hell out as fast as possible.
After 5 years with this company, I cannot even begin to detail all of the misfortunes we have been through in dealing with this company. We are now 3 days without AC for the 4th time since we’ve lived here. I really wish I knew how to contact corporate. The associates continue to cut me off, are extremely rude and unfriendly, and do not care about the tenant. Working now to find new housing.
Great rental property manager. Always quick to send someone out for repairs and great with follow ups as well. When we received military orders to move out of state, the process was handled quick and efficiently. We even got our full deposit back, which absolutely never happens no matter how much you clean! If we ever find our way back to Augusta we will definitely rent through Auben again.
Renewed a lease here because it was close to my job. But please don't lease with them. Being homeless is almost a better option. They don't respond to maintenance requests and try to push every little cost to you without taking care of any responsibilities a landlord/realtor should take care of. Please comment here if you have any questions about this place but please believe me when I tell you that these are the worst people to lease from. Please save your money and yourself and find somewhere else to live.
