Atlanta Home Movers delivered exceptional service from start to finish! Their team was professional, efficient, and handled all of our belongings with great care. Communication was clear throughout the entire process, and they arrived on time, worked quickly, and made sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. The crew was friendly, respectful, and clearly experienced, which made the move completely stress-free. Pricing was fair with no surprises, and the quality of service far exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be happier with our experience--five stars across the board!
I had Ricky and Jequan move me yesterday, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience! They were incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient. I have never been so impressed by a pair of movers before. It made what should have been a stressful day, much smoother. Ricky and Jequan are the best movers in Atlanta, hands down!!!!
I needed a safe, headboard, bed frame, and mattress moved. Atlanta Home Movers had great communication and fair pricing structure. Locking in a day/time was very easy via phone. The team that showed up had made contact prior to arrival, arrived on time, and knocked out the move smooth and fast with no damages. Special thanks to Ricky, Jequan, Hezekaih, and Cheick for the smooth move. Much appreciated!
Update: dropping one star post their reply as they are not only unreliable but will lie to hide their mistakes. Most, if not all, calls were made by me about ETAs and their response was essentially we can't do anything because our crew is busy and can't arrive in the time window.
Highly unreliable. Make sure that you schedule a move in the morning. We made the mistake of scheduling a move at 1 pm last month, and they didn't show up. After multiple calls, they said that they had one crew who has been working the whole day on another move and can only come after 4 pm. Since the freight elevators were not available for reservation until 6pm, I requested them to come after 6pm or next day morning before 9am. They nonchalantly said that that was not possible.
The only time they showed any signs of professionalism was at the time of booking and refund, hence the extra star.

Hello Animesh,
We apologize that we didn’t get to complete your moving service for you as that is never our intention. We appreciate your feedback, though we would like to clarify a few details. Your move was scheduled between a 1 to 4 PM arrival window and our team indicated multiple ETA updates throughout the day. Our crew was able to arrive within the window provided upon booking. Unfortunately, you chose to cancel rather than proceed or reschedule for the following morning which was offered as an alternative.
While we understand, scheduling constraints with the freight elevator can be challenging our team made every effort to accommodate that agreed upon service window. We are glad that you found our booking and refund process professional and wish you the best in your future moves.

I’ve used movers 3 times in the past 4 years and these were… well the worst. They were so rough with my things. Boxes marked “FRAGILE” everywhere and organized as such were put on the bottom of the truck and smashed to bits. My $1000 dresser was put in a dolly as if it had no worth and stored on its side in the truck, it ended up falling over and smashing several boxes in the ride (it weighs a solid 500+ pounds, why you would put it on its side makes no sense). The truck was packed horrendously, nothing was secured, and I had to completely redo the truck packing to be sure everything didn’t fall once we pulled out.
They did half of my move in 3 hours. I had several family and friends waiting for us on the highway and we all agreed my small apartment that was very organized/broken down/ ready to go into the truck would take 2 hours max to move. They only worked 1 man at a time, I never saw both, and did half the work in 3 hours. When I told them I didn’t want to pay for more time (because it was an obvious waste of money) the one man (KD?) stopped working. I didn’t see him for the last 30 minutes of the move, where my husband and I had to carry all sorts of furniture and boxes out of the house - while still paying them on the clock.
If you want men who move slow as molasses to rob your time/money, damage so many nice pieces of furniture as if they have no worth, and pack your truck so bad that you have to take 2 hours when they leave to repack it… hire these guys. But I HIGHLY recommend not hiring them - truly the lack of care for my things and laziness was astonishing.

Rebekah,
We are sorry to hear we didn’t meet your expectations. Our crew completed the portion of the move requested within 3 hours to stay within your budget, but we regret that the experience still left you dissatisfied. We did try to contact you on several occasions however had no luck getting in touch with you. We value your feedback and will use it to improve our services moving forward.

This was my first time hiring movers, and I’ll definitely be going with them the next time I move! They (Richard, Lavonte, and Jaquan) were quick and efficient and took great care of all my things. Had my move done in less than 4 hours, and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs movers!
DO NOT BOOK THEM! Despite the fact that I booked this team 2 months in advance, they completely ruined my move by entering in the wrong date, leaving us to scramble and find someone the day of. They were extremely unprofessional, unapologetic and didn't offer me anything for the extremely stressful inconvenience. The team put absolutely no care into our experience with them, making it a very hard and emotional day, completely THEIR FAULT.

Reagan,
We’re very sorry to hear you feel this way, but unfortunately your review does not reflect the facts of your booking.
Your move was originally scheduled for June 19th, as confirmed by your signed receipt dated May 19th. We sent you a confirmation email on June 18th stating we would arrive the next day, and our team showed up on June 19th as scheduled. When no one was home, we called multiple times and even emailed a photo showing we were at your address—yet received no response.
Weeks later, you contacted us thinking your move was for July 19th. Despite the confusion, we still agreed to reschedule at a discounted rate to accommodate you. On the day of the rescheduled move, we informed you the crew would arrive about an hour later than the window due to unforeseen delays. You then advised us to cancel because you had a flight to catch.
Our team made every effort to show up and complete your move—on both occasions. We’re committed to customer satisfaction, but we also believe in setting the record straight when false information is shared publicly.

Movers didn't properly protect my furniture during the move. Broken TV as well as chipped dressers and bookshelves. They also weren't particularly careful of their surroundings; damaged my new floors, took chips out of both a wall corner and a door, and put a dent in one of my walls.
-edit 7/12-
I have been in contact with their claims department and they seem to be making every effort to make things right, so bumping my rating for them.
2nd update: the manager, Vladimir, called and apologized and handled the situation with care and I'm very thankful for their overall customer service and concern. They did do a great job overall moving and again, Jamal was great.
Updated to 1 star bc Casey was so unhappy with my 4 star review, he called me twice asking me to remove it and texted me multiple times and all I asked for was an apology for being rude and I'd take down my review... but his ego was more important and he made me cry today after raising his voice and refusing to leave my home so yeah. He rushed me through the signing process when they got there and NEVER mentioned or showed me it wouldnt cover anything *I* packed bc logically why would I pay for that if I did everything myself? So hi, Casey, I recommend no one use you ever and please don't harass me anymore. You're blocked. I dont care about the broken items but you were hurtful and rude. They also broke my dresser handle but didnt tell me 🤪
They accidentally broke my only 2 *fragile* boxes, yes they were marked. HOWEVER. I told them upselling insurance without telling us it doesnt cover ANYTHING I packed is sneaky sneaky. So dont go for insurance unless you've got really nice furniture or you pay for them to pack all your boxes. I'm not even mad my stuff broke. But Mr. Casey asked for a review while I was upset so I said not while I'm upset and he said then dont leave one at all. And I said please stop talking to me and it'll be fine. He kept on and on. To the point I asked him to leave and he still wouldnt stop so my husband (normally a very calm and collected man) walked him to the door and made him leave. They did the job efficiently and quickly. But Casey just kept running his mouth when I calmly explained it felt sneaky to not tell me it wouldnt cover basically anything except our tvs or couch. Like why did I pay an extra $65 per room then? Jamal was very very friendly and kind and moved a pull out couch on his own and I was impressed. He is great.
