We started this process with Ron less than 1 year ago. I had heard about the BYO bank book and I was intrigued. So that’s how it all started. After finding the website of Ascendant Financial and watching some of their videos that offered more details on this new concept and learning about Dividend paying whole life insurance, I got excited. I got my husband to watch it and since one of our goal for this year was to concentrate on our retirement plan this seemed to offer amazing life changing benefits we wished we had learned when we were in our 30’s. Thankfully we had positioned ourselves well in our late 40’s and we needed to know more. I followed the online process and Ron reached out to us to schedule our first virtual meeting. This was for him to make sure we fully understood what infinite banking was and determine what were our financial goals. A few things I would recommend to anyone interested is to make sure you have available cash flow to pay your policies especially if you want to add additional coverage. Make sure you are ready to answer questions about your health since this is a life insurance policy. The younger you are the better since the cost is lower at 30 vs 50 and generally healthier. You also have more time to build your system. We needed to fast forward ours since we were older based on our financial goals. Ron took the time to explain all the steps to get our system setup, got policies for the whole family and followed up with us and provided us additional resources so we could start using the policies. This has been a great experience. Everyone is very supportive and the resources are great. I would recommend you reach out to them and learn more about infinite banking, it’s not a gimmick or scam, it’s a great system that will bring you financial freedom if you manage it well.
