Ok, so I've been threatened with legal action for my previous review which I believe was accurate but I'm going to try explain my experience, hopefully better and without being sued. I can say for certain, that I engaged in the services of Asbestology for asbestos removal. I purchased a house that needed some repairs. When tenants moved out, I replaced all the locks and started minor renovation work myself. Before the Asbestos job started I had some equipment in the house such as metal dustpan, metal bin and workshop vacuum which were stored away in different location from where the work was commencing. The only people who had keys during Asbestos removal was myself and whoever arrived representing Asbestology for the job. When I came back to my house after the work was completed I noticed metal dust pan and workshop vacuum was moved and and my metal bin was outside. The dust pan and bin were covered in dusty residue. Also there was broken plastic dust pans and some material put into my wheelie bins. A section of wall around a wash area was still present and I believed it was supposed to be removed and hadn't. They did come back to remove it. Finally, the waste from the job didn't end up where I thought it should have ended up. Maybe you can get more info from EPA regarding that matter. I personally felt distressed and seriously concerned, as I don't know if my families health or the publics health have been compromised. In my opinion, with a controlled environment and strict supervision things like this shouldn't happen.

You didn’t leave a clear area so we kindly put the good items away safe for you & put the broken junk items you left in the work space in the bin prior to starting the work. We are a multimillion dollar company & do not need to use our clients equipment like you are suggesting. You are one of two people upset with us in 20+ years of business. The other one was over a delayed build job because a business partner had died. The hygienist cleared your job & you received the clearance inspection certificate so once again we have now been blamed twice for others errors.

You & I both know who actually dumped the asbestos & there is clear evidence. We are not involved in that matter as we are licensed & responsible asbestos removalists & we don't appreciate you bringing us into that when you know very well that we've done nothing this false review states. Environmental science Queensland already spoke with you directly & informed you of the same yet you posted a false, defamatory post about us because you are upset about your bill. I hope you understand there are criminal & civil ramifications for knowingly making false statements designed to damage our reputation.

Starting a (small) bathroom reno over my Christmas break, will need asbestos removal in January. Tried a more than a few places, the two that got back to me didn’t seem all that interested in doing the job, maybe it was too small, maybe they were too busy. Was lucky enough to find Cole at Asbestology. Fast responses to all of my calls, and showed lots of patience with all of my questions. Quick quote and a commitment to start date that will suit me. Might still try and get other quotes, but am pretty confident that it will be Asbestology doing the removal and getting my “hard-earned”
