We had an outstanding experience working with this Architecture:WK from start to finish. Sam and Damian were a great team that led our project from start to finish. Together they combined beautiful design, technical expertise, and clear communication to deliver a complete refurbishment that truly exceeded our expectations. Sam is truly a master in the field, helping to keep the traditional elements of the house, while updating to today’s modern standard. Every aspect of the build was thought about in such detail; with no element comprised. Not having done a project of this scale before one could easily be overwhelmed with the number of decisions however Architecture:WK guided us throughout the way. From the beginning design in a day workshop, to the council application process, to the many sanity ware decisions, and RFPing for the build, the team made the whole process seamless and smooth. Our project was handled professionally, on time, and with a level of care that really set them apart. We couldn’t be happier with the final result and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality architectural services.

Sam and team are an absolute pleasure to work with. They were superb at problem solving and coming up with creative solutions to solve design and construction challenges, including managing the relationship with our builders. Most importantly, they ensured we had a beautiful home at the end of the day that was everything we hoped for. We've worked with Sam and her team on our kitchen extension and to fully refurbish and restore our family home. We always felt like we were in safe hands, and Sam steadily guided us through a fun, iterative design process. She also helped us navigate all the planning, tendering and project management of the build. The quality of the design both on paper and the end result exceeded our expectations, her focus on the details and finishing through all stages of the project, suggestions on things we should be doing but hadn't thought about made the difference. We are delighted with the end result and feel that with the creativity from Sam and team we were really able to maximise the space we had. She also helped us select an excellent build team who we enjoyed working with.

I worked with Sam and her team from Architecture:WK converting a property that was two flats into a family home. A ground floor extension and loft conversion were added. Sam guided me through the rather arduous and long process of planning applications as well re-designing the space, the tendering process and then the build itself. After a two year process (9 month build) I am absolutely delighted with the end result. Sam has an impressive eye for detail and has reconfigured the space into a light and airy haven that I truly love. I would highly recommend booking into a "design in a day" workshop and seeing how Sam and her team at Architecture:WK can transform your family home.

We worked with Architecture:WK over a 9 month period in 2024 to completely renovate our three story Edwardian house. We had owned the house for 20 years and with both children at university the time was right for major building works. We completely reformatted the ground floor to introduce a large utility space and extend the kitchen/living space. On the top floor we extended one of the bedrooms and installed a large bathroom. We are absolutely delighted with our new home. The team at Architecture:WK have a very good sense of space and a keen eye for detail. The new contemporary kitchen/living space is an absolute delight and enables us to enjoy the beauty of our garden. The flow of the house has been hugely improved. Historically we only used a small percentage of the rooms, and these were often dark and cold. Now we enjoy the whole house equally. I would certainly recommend chatting to the team if you are considering your own renovations.

We did a lot of research and due diligence before choosing Sam and her team. What a great choice we made. Sam and the team put their heart and soul in to the project as if it was their very own and the only thing they were working on. The end result is so perfect and we could not be happier. Even after the project is finished nothing is too much trouble and they continue to support us in tiny ways. Really knowledgeable and did lots of research for the best things for us as our project was quite unusual! Always available for us and took great care at every stage.

Having absolutely no experience of construction projects, we engaged Architecture:WK to run the entire project from soup to nuts. Sam and her team were absolutely first class and professional when necessary and friendly and approachable at all other times. The project consisted of the demolition of a detached brick built garage and its replacement by an side extension which included a studio, wine cellar and general storage area and a wet room all of which is attached to the house. We are delighted with the outcome. Our neighbours say that they can’t believe that it hasn’t been there all the time, so sympathetic is Sam’s design with the original house.

I'm very happy to give Architecture: WK my highest recommendation. They have taken my vague ideas for a ground floor extension and turned them into a truly stunning reality! As a novice to building projects, I find it almost unbelievable to look at the finished result and see how perfectly it realises the aesthetic I wanted. I went through the whole process with Sam, Stavroula and the rest of the team at WK, from the initial "Design in a Day" workshop at my home, through the planning process, the tendering and selection of a first-rate builder, and the project management of the entire build. The project management was utterly worth it as it took all of the stress out of the building process, which I had neither the experience nor the time to manage effectively myself. What particularly stands out for me is how WK marries exceptional creative talent and attention to the smallest detail of a design, with very hands-on, practical expertise when it comes to execution, to deliver a very high quality build. And, if you need a lot of guidance and support like I did, Sam and her team will skillfully and patiently lead you through both the big decisions and the hundreds of little decisions that you need to make on this kind of project. I found them to be the most wonderful people to work with.
