I signed up for a package of lessons, 1 instructor with my two kids. James was our instructor and he was great. Both my kids improved a lot to the point I'm now confident they can swim well on their own. James helped my son learn breaststroke as well. Thanks you so much James for helping my kids improve so much! Highly recommend Aquastar. I've been to pretty much every swim school in Richmond amd the improvement was the quickest with Aquastar - private swim lessons have been totally worth it for us.

I would love to give 5 stars for this service because the lifeguard was excellent and made the pool party a big success! My only concern was that I did not know until the last minute whether or not I would actually have a lifeguard for the event. I was the first one to use this service and there were definitely some teething pains, but Justin was extremely responsive and kept in close touch throughout the process. No doubt this wonderful service will be streamlined in the future, so do consider using it to secure a lifeguard for your next pool party. I will certainly use them again.

Jade is a fantastic instructor. When I first started my swimming lessons I was not sure if my instructor would be able to communicate with me efficiently for my blindness. I was really surprised how comfortable Jade was with me, and it was also fascinating how clearly she clearly explained each step. She’s very patient and volunteers to assist me. I had lessons with many instructors before, but Jade definitely is the best. I highly recommend Jade and wish her best of luck in all her future endeavors.

I got into swim lessons late this summer but Justin was super accommodating into finding me an instructor (Avery) for my 6 year old kid. With some scheduling conflicts, they got us an instructor on a higher level (Rose) for the same price which was super nice as it was out of their control. What I appreciated the most is that I saw a HUGE improvement in my child’s confidence in water and the skills he learned to master. For context, he was a fearful kid who had a bad experience with group lessons and other instructors from other company/club who pushed him too far out of his comfort zone. It took him just the assessment to breakthrough and I am watching him LOVE the pool and trust his abilities in water after every session. To learn that water isn’t always bad! I still have more sessions scheduled and will recommend this service to anyone looking for more personalized instructions. Yes, it’s expensive as private lessons can get BUT having my kid actually become confident and be able to swim is very important to me. The money was WORTH it!

We decided to do a free trail with Tristan, immediately my daughter was comfortable going in the water with him. She’s non verbal and he is very patient and has adapted to her needs. He keeps it fun while also learning pool safety. Highly recommend!
