EXPENSIVE, AND NO RECEIPT GIVEN
To judge by a review from last year, I am not the only customer of this firm who has been unable to obtain a receipt for work done. I paid promptly, in fact on the day my guttering adjustment was carried out, and I have since sent a request for a receipt (which I was promised after the work was completed) by text and by letter. But I have received no response, nearly two months later. The firm says its work is guaranteed, but how can anyone prove that it carried out work in the first place if they have no receipt? A receipt would also show I paid VAT, of course. I can only hope that this ends up with HMRC. The guttering adjustment itself appears to have been effective, but it required far less work than I was led to believe when I was given a quote. I still had to pay the amount originally quoted, and I considered this expensive given the work involved. I always try to use local firms for anything to do with the house. But I don't think I'll be using this one again.

Chosen because they were cheap. I guess you get what you pay for (my mistake).
Took 3 months of phoning to get the work started. Leaking roof AFTER they had finished. They came and ‘fixed it’, but it still leaks now. They had the cheek to ask me to pay them more to fix it!!
Frank was very friendly, but didn’t do much. Sat in his van all day on his phone, left the job to his employee to finish on his own. Never again
Absolutely 10 stars happy with the work that APS have done on repairing the leading on our utility roof !
Frank and Dave were lovely and polite and very tidy! Everything from the quote, to ongoing communication to the job itself were handled professionally and expertly done. Would highly recommend them if you need a big or small job done. They were quick in arranging a day to do the work and went above and beyond in making sure the job was completed, doing more than was originally agreed! Thank you!
