When I bought my house last year, the home inspector noted that the dryer vent exiting through the basement window was not up to code. I contacted Apex, and they promptly came out to reroute the vent properly through the wall. They did an excellent job, so much so that I called them back to clean my air ducts as well. Highly recommend their professional and reliable service!

He was very knowledgeable about all tasks to be performed and about additional services that I inquired about. I explained my situation regarding my personal health issues and asked if she could accommodate a better date for installation of our electric fireplace. At first she wasn't certain what she could do since my installation date had been postponed due to inclement weather conditions. Terrible customer service. I called to make an appointment 2 weeks ago to get both my dryer vent and air duct cleaning. when I made the call, I asked the woman that was scheduling the appointment if when they came to do it, they could tell me if it even needed to be done and if it did, do it. she said that yes, they could check for me when they got to my house and do it if they needed to be done.
I waited 2 weeks for the appointment, they gave me the time frame that the tech would get here between 12-4. he got here around 330 just to tell me that he cannot do the air ducts. that he was told he only needed to give a quote.
he mentioned that there was no point in doing the dryer vent because it's better to do them both at the same time. he told me to call and explain to them what happened and that they could help me with a price adjustment for the inconvenience.
I called today to talk to someone about what happened and their response was only that they had to follow what was in the notes which was only to give the estimate (which is not all that we discussed!).
I asked her if I could get some sort of discount for the inconvenience and she said no because of what was in the notes.
So, all in all, their scheduler made a mistake, I waited 2 weeks for an appointment that nothing could even be done at, just for them to refuse to do anything to make this terrible experience better.
I used them once in the past, but will never use them again and will look for another company that values customer service.

Great Company, APEX has to be the best company in New Jersey. I had my vents and exhaust fans cleaned today. Joe Powers and Jay were terrific and such real gentlemen(hard to find a genleman these days) I was expecting a huge mess, my home was kept as clean as the minute they walked in. They worked together beautifully complementing each other, both so very knowlegeable. I expected hours of work and big cleaning job after it was all over. Nothing, not a spot of dust. APEX also does other jobs such a dryer cleaning; I utilized them for that and they were great. This is a company I trust. APEX has been around a long time. Prices quoted are reasonable and when they arrived I asked again about costs and Joe had it in detail at his fingertips (literally). If you call the office ask for Nicole. A wonderful representative and very kind and also so respectful and very smart; Nicole relates to customers in a kind and helpful manner. You can feel her warmth over the telephone or in emails. All reps should be like Nicole. I can go on and on about the good feelings I feel toward Joe, Jay and Nicole and especially APEX. You will not go wrong asking for their services.
