I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Andrew Johnson’s funeral service providers for all the work, care, and support the team put in during such a difficult time for my family. Everything was handled with the utmost professionalism, and every detail was carried out with genuine respect not only for our loved one, but for us as a family as well. The compassion and sensitivity shown throughout the process made a real difference, especially as we were going through this for the first time. We are also deeply grateful for the continued support even after the funeral, which helped guide us through the days that followed. Andrew Johnson Funeral Service provided a great service, under such sad circumstances, up to and on the day. Bridget was constantly on hand and responding to all our queries promptly, to reassure us that everything was in hand, and it was. Everything was meticulously planned and went without any hiccups, meaning we were able to mourn our lost stress-free. Crissy and her team were great on the day; they were there for support, but very discreet, being in the background. Hopefully, I won’t have to deal with them again soon, but I would definitely recommend them.

For me, like many, losing my dad in September was thee worst day of my life. My whole world came crushing down and I was completely lost and had no idea what to do or where to start when planning the funeral. After visiting other funeral homes and still being unsure, I walked into Andrew Johnson’s funeral services and immediately felt at ease. Bridget was my saving grace, she was amazing, she listened, she was patient and truly felt as if she genuinely cared. I knew straight away that I wanted my dad to be in their care. She talked me through everything and helped me to make decisions. She even doubled up as a nanny, entertaining and babysitting my 2yo daughter while I visited dad in the chapel of rest. The whole experience from start to end felt so personal and comforting. Bridget made the most awful time less stressful and easier to bare. I met Andrew and the team on the day of the funeral and I was blown away by how they all carried themselves and directed the funeral. Firstly they all looked immaculate, and again I got the feeling that Andrew and the guys genuinely cared and they certainly take pride in what they do. Andrew was so kind, caring and informative but also had an air of authority over the proceedings which I needed as I’d probably still be at the crematorium spinning around in confusion and disbelief. I have zero regrets about choosing Andrew Johnson. My dad was well looked after in their care and had the most amazing send off. As a family we felt listened to, valued and cared for from start to end. It takes special people to work in and run a funeral directors and I would highly recommend the super special people at Andrew Johnson’s Funeral services to anyone in need of their outstanding services!!!

They have found the right blend of discretion and compassion with direction. When you need this service you are at a low ebb , having the gentle guidance of Bridget , Chrissy and Andrew makes all the difference. Our funeral was simple , dignified and just the right was to say goodbye. We were put in touch with a wonderful celebrant Robin and Andrew Johnson dealt with a perfect florist Crimson Rose. I highly recommend the Plumstead branch of Andrew Johnson funeral directors. They got what we were about straight away and made the whole day feel very special. I buried my Dad two years ago and while the undertakers we used then were okay, they were pants compared to Andrew Johnson and his team. Very professional, not pushy and bringing great dignity to the proceedings. Excellent!

Can't fault Andrew Johnson for their funeral services... But DO NOT ORDER your headstone from them. So far we have had 3 completion dates, the first one at the end of December 2023 and as of yet still no completed headstone, no communication from them what so ever unless we contact them. It's been nearly 2 years and my dear mother still doesn't have a completed headstone this is causing un-necessary distress to us as a family in our time of grief.

As I explained during our call, we assist families with the arrangements for a memorial, but we do not undertake the work ourselves and work with a memorial mason who then completes the work for us. We recognize that there have been some delays in the completion of the memorial for your late mother, and understand the distress this has caused to you, and I hope that my explanation of what has happened in this case has clarified things for you. There are times when circumstances are outside of our control, as has been the case this time.

Words cant describe the amount of gratitude that I have for Andrew Johnson funeral services. From start to finish they were respectful, kind, gentle, caring and all round amazing. Planning a funeral is already a difficult time but it was made a lot easier with the guidance and kind words of Andrew Johnson himself. What can I say about Andrew Johnson Funeral service... Caring, Kind, Supportive, Respectful and accommodating for our beliefs everything you need and more when dealing with the toughest times of your life. We needed to use the few years ago initially with our father and then sadly with multiple family members. We have recommended then to other who have also had such a positive experience with them. Even after leaving ashes for years without a word from me, I was so anxious what might have happened or how they would respond to my request for them. Remembered me by name and split the ashes it was so compassionate and have answers for all silly not silly questions. Use them, you will not regret it.
