Do NOT believe the 5 stars. Marketing Tactic I have tried TWICE and waited over 5 months since my original test sample. First time they said I need to register my account before sending (so they threw away my sample). They then sent me a new one, to which I sent out again and made sure I registered, now 2 months later it says it hasn't even arrived with them. Just a poor quality experience and waste of time! Find an alternative who has sorted out their logistics. This company is as outdated as the ancestors I am trying to learn about.

Wouldn’t recommend My mom got me the dna kit as a gift. Everything is pretty much behind a paywall even though for years I was able to do stuff with the free account in the past now fixing basic things they want you to pay for it. I got the dna results back and it seems like I only matched things from my moms family but not my dads and oddly my husbands family.

Not what I expected Took nearly 2 months to get the results, I have had other dna mail in tests that took way less time. To me seems a money racquet, claiming-"to get your results faster pay X amount'. I was disappointed in the info it provided, or lack of, however if you want more info..."pay X amount and you can unlock more. I do not recommend

Great if you wanna learn more about yourself or parents My father took one of these and found out he had another daughter, I wanted to know more about myself so I got this. My father passed away start of 2024 so I decided to get one to learn more about myself and maybe to get connected with family. I learned a lot about myself and found a huge family tree. Amazing.

Fascinating results Bought this for a Christmas gift, I also received one as a gift. The instructions are easy, open, scan code and register, spit in the tube (gag when someone else spits in it), put in the cap, shake, put the tube inside the original packaging and off to the mail box. They notify you every step taken, mailed, received, sent to lab, testing being done, testing completed, results! Tada! Then you get to see your dna results which was surprising to me when I received mine back. Waiting the giftee to get his back. It’s fun to read the results and see where the areas your family was from, etc. it’s up to you to delve farther if you want with the ancestry site.

Disappointing Felt like a bait and switch play to me, give you a discount initially to purchase their service, feed you a little information , then charge you more to get what you were really looking for in the first place. I got more information from my Mom's Genealogy work than what I got from Ancestry.....what a waste!

Intetesting I bought for a reasonable price on sale. Send your saliva in them from the kit they send and get your results back! So cool to find your true ethnic back ground and relatives. I’ve learned so much and have found pictures of long lost or unknown family members posted by other distant relatives. I love it. DNA results are updated regularly and can change to be more accurate.
