Sehr schöne Anlage,gepflegt, tolle Dusche, freundliche Gastgeberin, sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, ruhige aber zentrale Lage mit eigenem Parkplatz!

It’s a 10!!!! Goodness, if you are lucky enough to find availability, don’t think twice, snap it up! My teenage daughter and I were very keen on finding accommodation in Anastasia’s Gardens. We could tell from the photos there was a really lovely aura about the place, it reviewed GREAT, plus its location within 2minutes’ walk of the gorgeous, quaint Stegna beach was ideal. Well, I am sooooo glad we listened to all the reviews and sought out this place as persistently as we did (we struggled with availability for a while). Highlights: Before arriving, Tsampika (who is loveliness personified!) quoted us a very fair price and was both very friendly and efficient in our communications, happy and quick to answer my every question. On arrival: the all-essential air-con was great; our room was even more spacious and beautiful than expected; Wi-Fi was excellent; beds were very comfy with linen/towels all first class and fresh-smelling (sleep can be quite elusive for me but I slept SO well here the entire week). The shower room was designed with flair and quality fittings, spotlessly clean and in perfect working order. Some toiletries were available, and there was good water pressure and ample hot water always —even when 4 of us had to shower when 2 friends of my daughter stayed in our room for 2 nights (a last-minute request which Tsampika was very accommodating about and only too happy to sort!) The kitchenette in our studio was not massive but perfectly adequate for making breakfast and even cooking the odd meal —which we didn’t because of the abundance of wonderful seaside restaurants at Stegna and us wanting to try a different one every night (great service. and food in each one —definitely get my Greek vote). A few more highlights: * set a little further back from the main coastal road that runs through the village, the hotel is ever so quiet * happy guests who return year after year (3 families we met have been coming back for 30+ years!) * roomy patios with sea and/or garden views * rooms/flats of different sizes (studios, 1- and 2-bedroom flats) * pristine, lush gardens with paths swept daily (such high standards of maintenance) * wonderful attentive cleaning staff * Stegna is the complete opposite of Faliraki: it is a serene seaside town with limited night life (a couple of quiet bars), independent tourists, lovely seaside restaurants and a good availability of beach loungers with parasols even in August (with beach service and at 10€ a set, I thought they were a steal) * great swimming and snorkelling (also beach sports and possibility to rent a boat to tour the coves in the area) * definitely recommend evening visits to Old Rhodes Town and Lindos — both heart-stoppingly picturesque Our holiday was everything we could have wished for. The days flew by, filled with amazing memories and a strong desire from early on to return. There is a special place now in our hearts for this lovingly-run hotel, Tsampika and her wonderful son, Rafa — both of whom genuinely go above and beyond for all their guests. Thank you both so so much! We hope to see you again soon!
