Jonathan from American metal building has been wonderful. I have been planning this building now for over a year and have gone through at least 7 different renditions. Jonathan has been super patient and his customer service has been outstanding just fielding every question and handling other concerns with the manufacture as well. The process has been great highly recommended.

lead time would be 8-12 weeks and they came out in just 2 weeks. They were professional, fast, and efficient, and it was clear they took pride in their work. They kept the job site clean and made sure to clean up after themselves, which we greatly appreciated.
The finished garage looks absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend American Metal Buildings to anyone looking for a quality custom-built structure and outstanding customer service from start to finish.
Jason was by far the best representative. I am very picky and had 100's of questions and Jason always was able to answer them or get me an answer. We have successfully ordered, down payment completed, and now waiting for delivery and setup. If you are on the fence about a metal structure, give Jason a chance to help you decide.
Jonathan Medina was so great to work with! He explained everything about the process and all of our options. He was very good about adapting to any changes, requests, and questions we had during the design phase. Jonathan would get a 5 star rating, but the manufacturing side of the project would only get a 3 hence the 4 star average. It was a slow process and no one answered the phone or returned calls during that timeframe. When they scheduled installation, it was a ‘we’ll be there on this date’ not a discussion. Anyway, we couldn’t be home on the first delivery/install date so it became another wait without any follow up by them. Communication was less than satisfactory. Now, the delivery and installation crew were very nice and efficient when they did come. Again, 5 stars for them. Overall I would recommend American Metal Buildings for the quality and price.
I am writing this review to show my dissatisfaction with Degollado Concrete, the subcontractor provided by American Metal Buildings for my project (Salesman: Jorge).
Due to significant errors in the slab's dimensions and placement, I was forced to redesign my building and delay the project by several months. I had clearly marked the area and provided verbal instructions to align the slab parallel to my home and behind the porch line. Instead, the slab was poured 4 feet too far forward—placing it in the front yard and violating local zoning codes. Furthermore, the dimensions were rotated 90 degrees (poured 25’ wide x 24’ deep instead of the requested 24’ wide x 25’ deep).
These errors forced me to cancel my original building order and pay for a new design that met zoning requirements. It also resulted in months of unexpected expenses for a storage container pod.
To make matters worse, Degollado Concrete has refused to sign the county’s footer declaration form, preventing me from passing final inspection. While I understand American Metal Buildings did not pour the concrete, you chose this contractor. I am requesting that you use your professional leverage to ensure Degollado Concrete provides the necessary sign-off so this project can finally be closed.
We just ordered our building today. I must say this has been a pleasure talking to Jonathan. He is very informative and also patient. He returned my emails in a timely manner and was always there when I called. I will post pictures when we have our building done. I have two family members wanting to purchase a building and I will definitely be referring them to Jonathan.
I'm honestly really happy with my building. I read a lot of reviews about how the process can be slow, and I will admit: It took a bit of time to get the order built and in to the system. I think they could do better letting the customer know that it's in process. But that being said... Everything wend fine. Pricing was very competitive, and the installation went perfectly. The guys were lightning fast and you can absolutely tell they take pride in their work. If I knew I could get the same crew again I'd not hesitate to order another building.
