Neil is very knowledgeable and friendly. I brought a family heirloom ring to him to get the stones and metal evaluated. He was able to identify the materials, generate an estimated value, and provide a comprehensive report. With his help, I am now able to insure the ring and reuse the materials for another ring.
I just took my mother’s ring in for an appraisal- and I got far more than what I expected. Neil explained clearly and professionally what the appraisal actually considered and the parameters surrounding the process. It was an education. In addition, I also learned about real vs. manufactured gems and the influence of the popular market on the value of a jewelry piece. While I would love to think the pieces I have are somehow materially worth more based on my sentimentality, I truly appreciated the guidance through the actual real process- and all done calmly and succinctly explained. I had a great experience here- and Neil also took a brief look at a couple of other pieces and recommended what might be appropriate or not for a future appraisal. I’m very glad to have this done- reasonably and quickly. A big thank you!

I brought in a pair of inherited diamond stud earrings for an insurance appraisal and had a really great experience. Booking online was easy, Neil was warm, efficient, and clearly passionate about what he does. The whole process was relaxed and unhurried, and the report is thorough and exactly what I needed. If you're looking for an independent appraiser in the Arvada/Denver area who actually makes the experience enjoyable, Neil is your guy.
I'm very happy with everything Neil did. When I brought the jewelry to his office he explained how he does appraisals and educated me about the jewelry. When I returned to pick up the appraisals, he again spent time telling me details about each piece. It was fascinating! Extremely professional from beginning to end.
Today I brought in 4 possible pieces for Neil to appraise. However, we decided that only two were justified for an appraisal, and he adjusted the appointment accordingly. He is very knowledgeable and provided detailed information about condition of the appraised pieces and repairs he suggested for their integrity. The documentation is very thorough as well. Would highly recommend. I drove an hour to see Neil, and it was time well spent. Avoid highly marketed jewelry stores for appraisal, and go see Neil!

I called ahead to confirm they appraise Rolex and Breitling watches with custom diamond diamonds, etc. Neil said yes. When I arrived, he glanced at my Rolex—sitting next to the box, serial number, and original receipt—and immediately claimed it was fake. After actually reviewing the receipt and seeing the reputable jewelry shop it came from, he switched his story and said it was real but had a custom aftermarket diamond dial… blah blah blah. Smh. The whole interaction was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Worst appraisal experience I’ve had. I do NOT recommend this place.

There was no appraisal, but I recall your visit. This is an appraisal service, which you obviously knew, but you did not leave a job. No value was provided. No report was either written or spoken. No fees were charged. There was no appraisal. I declined the job. You were not and are not a client but I’m still disappointed that you were so displeased with your visit. I hope you find another appraiser who suits you better and who will tell you what you want.
From start to finish, Neil was a true and HONEST professional.
I needed to get an appraisal on a loose stone.
He picked up his phone on the first call, and I was able to get an appointment within 48 hours (on a Saturday) already impressed...
Neil took a look at my stone and we spent some time talking, he determined it was not advantageous for me to get an appraisal. Yet he still took the time to discuss several options for my situation.
We parted ways with no money being exchanged, but some knowledge and advice in my pocket.

I can't recommend Neil enough! We had a wonderful experience getting a ring I inherited appraised. I loved how he went into detail about how he came to his conclusions on the age of the ring. We would absolutely use his services in the future!
