We had booked our honeymoon through Amara & Tommy was our guide through the entire process. He made it an absolute breeze! Tommy took our general ideas and really honed in on exactlyyyy what we wanted. She curated a honeymoon full of adventure and relaxation. Spending time in Tanzania — we embarked on a safari that was indescribable through Serengeti and Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro crater. After the rush - a remote Island in Zanzibar is where we concluded our honeymoon and dipped our toes in the sand! While I could go on and on… know that Amara can make whatever trip you’re dreaming of a possibility!

Our family had an amazing experience in Tanzania thanks to Amara Safari. From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully personalized, even down to accommodating our vegetarian diet. The lodges were beautiful and comfortable, and the entire trip was seamlessly organized thanks to Tommy. Our guide, Baraka, was outstanding. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw as much wildlife as possible, sharing his deep knowledge along the way. Because of him, we were able to witness so many incredible animals up close. Our safari with Amara was simply one of my favorite experiences I've heard. We booked it at the end of the year and Louise's assisted us so well with all her recommendations. We missed most of the accommodations we wanted but she recommended absolutely awesome alternatives that we didn't feel any difference. I'm a fond of the wild and that wasn't a problem at all. However out Guide Michael was simply the mastermind of the entire journey. His animal spotting skills were insane! He spotted a leopard at least 100 ft away on the tree during our visit Tarangire. This was my absolute favorite experience. I would recommend Amara Safari to anyone visiting Africa for safari.

Our experience with Amara was top notch from start to finish!! The travel, accommodations, food, excursions, guides, and hosts all deserve 5 stars. All of our expectations of the trip were blown out of the water. We not only loved seeing Tanzania, Kenya and Zambia but we learned so much along the way in 15 days. We saw countless of animals in all the parks, especially Serengeti. It was crowded at some point but now I know why. Our guides at every country and park were truly ambassadors for their countries and the region. We received personalized care and our experiences were perfectly curated.
