They did such a thorough job of explaining the process, were always available to answer questions, checked and double checked what was and was not to be moved. They worked quickly and carefully, packing, tracking, moving and unpacking. Made sure we had copies of inventory and that we understood the process. Everyone was polite and professional and worked cleanly. Everything made it to the destination in tact. They made a stressful process as easy as it could be. We highly recommend Alpha Movers.

Terrible experience. I have moved numerous times. Tacked on a lot of charges and in the end they broke my bed (bed frame was worth about 5k alone), my lamp, trashed my rugs (brand new white rug) and carpeting with dirty shoes, broke my glassware. Use a reputable company. As far as the claims department, a joke. I have tried calling back numerous times. I have a job so when you give me specific times and dates on a different time zone, real helpful. Would take my business to any other moving company. Want you to jump through hoops to file a claim when their movers cause thousands of dollars worth of damage!

I had an excellent experience with Alpha moving from NJ to Maine. I interviewed and got estimates from 4 moving companies and I believe I made the best choice. Alpha wasn’t the most affordable but I believed their price was fair and I felt confident with them from the beginning. To my relief, moving day went smoothly. All items were catalogued and carefully wrapped. After the long drive to Maine, moving in day was just as easy. Everything arrived in perfect condition. The movers were friendly and personable. Heather provided good communication from the office during the entire process. I would definitely recommend Alpha.

The attention to detail and care of wrapping everything up for security of the items makes you feel like they too own and care for all your belongings. TBH, they packed it better than I would have cared for but that just shows the level of quality service and customer care that truly is of a luxury service at reasonable prices. I would never move aging without Alpha by my side. Also, our move had so much change in terms of dates and closing coordination that Alpha was extremely accommodating and flexible with us.

I used Alpha Moving and Storage to pack and store my loft for a short period of time - they were fast and professional- i had a lot of art and delicate pieces - noting was broken or missing during the unpack. Cost effective and very nice to work with over the 6 months. highly recommend!
