I started as an extremely anxious driver, delaying my decision to start learning for over 10 years. But as soon as I got in the car with David I felt immediately at ease. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional whilst also being friendly and making sure you are relaxed while driving. Throughout my lessons I gained confidence and so much knowledge, as David is able to see things before they happen, he points them out such as ‘what could this car over there do at this corner’. Instead of just saying what’s going to happen, he lets you think about it and discuss what could happen, which makes you learn even more rather than just being told. Overall, despite being extremely anxious mentally for my test, I knew that skill-wise I was ready and was able to pass with 1 minor. I also feel confident now after my test as I know that David has given me all the tools that I need, not only to pass my test, but continue driving safely in the future.Thanks so much David!

I passed first time and thanks to David, calm and reassuring character, even when I made a mistake, he wouldn't criticize me negatively but would allow me another opportunity to make right which I had not found in a previous instructor. I had an amazing time learning to drive with David...we laughed through the lessons. Which boosted my confidence. David doesn't teach one to pass the test but to be a safe and great driver on the road.. I learnt that driving is about good judgment, anticipation, car control etc and practicing daily on his advice made the success I got. I will recommend the company to anyone who needs to be a safe and efficient driver in the uk. Harriet

Ive never been confident with my driving. I have not used my driving licence, neither have driven a car since passing my test. David helped me to overcome my anxiety, shared a number of important tips, and made sure that I was comfortable with the learning programme. I have bought myself a car and I am now driving! David is an excellent instructor and I can’t recommend him enough. His expertise is second to none and he is truly skilful at imparting his knowledge to others. He has a remarkable knack for building instant rapport and putting you at ease. Because of that, he is able to really understand what approach each individual client needs in order to succeed, and to help them to feel confident, capable and safe behind the wheel. He gets you thinking way beyond the standards required to pass a test, so that you develop a much deeper level of awareness and have a real understanding of yourself as a motorist. I hadn’t driven for over twenty years and was extremely anxious with no confidence in myself, but with David's patience and guidance I was able to overcome this. What I thought was going to be a real chore, re-learning to drive, turned out to be an absolute pleasure! I can wholeheartedly say that when the time comes for my children to take lessons, there is no one else I would put my trust in more.

Had a refresher session with David after not driving for a few years. My main goal was to rebuild confidence so I could get back into my own car with less nerves.David introduced himself and made things feel relaxed from the start—no awkwardness, just two blokes going for a drive. It was clear this wasn’t an assessment; he was there to help and support.We started with basic stuff like left turns, and he encouraged me to reflect on my own driving. After a few laps, he’d give feedback—always constructive, never preachy or like he was quoting the Highway Code.He built the session around what I needed, listening to what I wanted to work on.It was exactly what I needed—now feeling way more confident and ready to get back behind the wheel of my own car.
