I went in to get my son tested for Allergies he requested the shots and according to by by 10 years old he would be allergy free (my son is 9) when asked if insurance covers the treatment he said yes. That was wrong come to find 7 days later a bill for $250 from this place. Mind you he only went for a consult and had one shot afterwards to begin the treatment two different days. I paid my first co-pay but the way he billed the insurance was as though I came back to his office 8 times. Not anyway ethical or firm. Do your research before signing anything especially with this place

This is how you bill allergy shots for all patients.
Your insurance will only allow us to bill one bottle per day. I would call the patient care advocate with your insurance as they can help walk you though this.

I have been a patient at this clinic since 2022 and I come here once a month for allergy shots. The doctor is very kind, and the nurses/medical staff who administer the shots are also always friendly and professional.
The problem is with the new front desk staff. When I first started my treatment, the staff at that time explained to me that I could request a treatment history report after each visit, which I need to submit to my company. This report allows me to use two hours without taking from my vacation days. Since then, I have always received this report after my shots without any issue.
However, ever since the previous staff left and new staff started working, the experience has been very unpleasant. Whenever I request the report, they act annoyed, close the sliding window in my face, and make me wait awkwardly until they feel like responding. They often tell me that they don’t know what I’m asking for or that such a report doesn’t exist, then ask each other in confusion, and finally print it out only after a long delay. Once I leave, they slam the window shut again. Their tone and expressions clearly show frustration, and it feels like they don’t want to help at all.
It’s disappointing because this is a medical office where patients deserve kindness and respect. The front desk staff are the first impression of the clinic, and their job should be to make patients feel comfortable—not irritated or unwelcome. Instead, they often look distracted, playing with their phones or toys, and show no sense of professionalism.
I sincerely hope the management or doctor is aware of this situation. Judging by other reviews, I’m not the only patient who feels this way. This clinic needs to address the front desk behavior seriously, because it negatively affects the entire patient experience, even though the medical care itself is good.

It’s been my pleasure to be a patient of Dr. Varghese and his team at the Northern Valley Allergy and Sinus Center.
