Hier Spanisch Unterricht zu nehmen war die beste Entscheidung. In nur ein paar Wochen habe ich mehr Fortschritte gemacht als in der Schulzeit und hatte deutlich mehr Spaß dabei. Mein Lehrer war super lieb, kompetent und geduldig. Wer hätte gedacht, dass Lernen so viel Freude bringen kann 🤩

I had an incredible experience at AKO Language school in Playa del Carmen. Thaaank you so much Emmanuel! I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn in a fun, flexible, and inspiring way. The program is very well structured but never feels rigid – it’s perfectly adapted to your level, goals, and interests. One thing I loved most was the flexibility: lessons don’t have to take place in a traditional classroom. You can have classes in cafés, which makes learning feel very natural and relaxed, and helps you practice the language in real-life situations. It honestly makes a huge difference. The teachers are absolutely fantastic. They explain everything clearly, create a comfortable learning atmosphere, and make you feel confident speaking from day one. On top of that, the school gives great local recommendations, including amazing food spots and also really nice local places. You really feel supported not just as a student, but as a visitor in the city. If you want, they also help you to plan your journey and they have the best recommendations. Most importantly, every single dollar spent is absolutely worth it. The quality of teaching, the personal attention, and the overall experience make this school an outstanding investment in yourself. If you’re looking for a high-quality language school with excellent teachers, a great program, and a unique learning experience in Playa del Carmen, this is the place to go! Ich kann diese Sprachschule wirklich allen ans Herz legen! Ich hatte einen tollen Lernplan und es hat richtig Spaß gemacht mit Emmanuel Spanisch zu lernen ! Ich konnte schon ein bisschen Spanisch aus der Schule, hatte aber einiges vergessen, Emmanuel hat gut eingeschätzt auf welchem Niveau ich mich befinde und den Unterricht auch toll an meine Interessen angepasst. Diesen Sprachlehrer Emmanuel kann ich nur allerwärmstens empfehlen! Immer herzlich, freundlich, zuverlässig. Für totale Anfänger*innen wie mich geht auch alles auf Englisch. Termine können flexibel vereinbart werden und man bekommt zusätzlich zum Unterricht Zugang zu Duolingo.

Eine hervorragende Sprachschule mit sehr kompetenten und engagierten Lehrkräften. Der Unterricht ist gut strukturiert, praxisnah und motivierend. Man fühlt sich gut betreut und macht schnell Fortschritte. Organisation und Kommunikation sind ebenfalls top. Absolute Empfehlung!

After arriving in Playa del Carmen, we booked Spanish classes with Professor Alex. Both my wife and I had taken Spanish classes in high school but that was ages ago, and we didn't take it seriously at the time, so neither of us could actually carry on a conversation back then. The ancient knowledge, buried for decades, was of some help however as these classes were full immersion, meaning that Prof. Alex spoke almost exclusively Spanish. He started slowly with small-talk discussing his and our families and corrected us when we made a mistake. He would write down words we were having trouble with. The full immersion concept really stretched our brains and at times was exhausting, but I'm convinced it is the quickest and probably most effective way of learning a language. I'm surprised at how much we learned and how much buried knowledge was able to come back. Would recommend.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to fly to Mexico. I had already booked private lessons in advance. AKO organized everything so that I could take the courses online. :) Everything was really well organized, and the staff were always available and responded quickly to my questions. ¡Muchísimas gracias a mi profesor Alejandro! I hadn’t practiced Spanish in YEARS and I had just relocated to Playa del Carmen for a few months when Emmanuel was assigned as my teacher. From the very first class, I knew I was incredibly lucky! He is so smart, kind, patient, and truly the best teacher I could have hoped for 🥹 More than just teaching me the language, Emmanuel helped me understand and live the Mexican culture. His classes made me feel connected, supported, and genuinely excited to learn again. I would recommend him to absolutely anyone! He also offers online classes (which are just as amazing and effective). Oh and I almost forgot to mention… the most important…thanks to him, my Spanish level improved a lot and I am truly thankful for it. Emmanuel, thank you for everything. Why I chose Mr. Emmanuel: he was professional and very clear on the importance of why we are starting here. I liked how he has increased my chances of conversation by invitation of dance lessons further more learning culture and so forth. Emmanuel is a very kind and so helpful not only in the classroom, he has pointed out local spots to eat and what beach to see, as well as adjusted each lesson knowing and study of my lifestyle. He listens and he is always smiling. Over all he is smart and he knows what he’s doing. I recommend Emmanuel mostly because he has patience lol. Sorry for being a difficult at times Hahahhah It was just part of my process 20 stars ( gracias professor)

I spoke no Spanish at all when I started, and thanks to his patience, great energy, and fun teaching style, I can now speak Spanish fluently! He made learning so enjoyable and easy to understand. The lessons were a great mix of conversations and textbook exercises, combining useful vocabulary with important grammar theory.
