One of Akian's drivers tailgated me on I-95 East for a few miles, driving unnecessarily aggressively behind me (right lane).
There was major traffic, and he was not more than 5 inches from my bumper until his exit (50A-B).
I GENUINELY hope their plumbing skills are infinitely better than their driving skills...
I have everything recorded on my rear dashcam.
Akian Plumbing fixed the problem with our boiler/indirect water heater system. The technicians, especially Sean and Antonio were courteous and professional, and the dispatchers, especially Ryka (?) were quite helpful. However, the problem took several communications, iterations and multiple visits to completely diagnose and fix. As a result, we were without hot water for approximately two weeks and if it were February instead of August, we would have been heatless! However, I enjoyed my first in a while hot shower today; so, thanks, Akian!
Chris and Brendan installed new fans/vents/switches for our two bathrooms - final setup was amazing! Great service, very friendly and knowledgeable. Real attention to detail. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Akian, and in particular with Carlos and Alex M. Sean and Andrew were great. I came home from work one day to discover water damage to my bathroom ceiling. Sean came out quickly to assess the situation. He was able to get someone out to remediate right away. Once the cleanup was complete, Andrew came out to do some further investigate and was able to successfully identify the water source in my very old condo building in Brighton. Our central AC unit stopped working in August and Carlos was the technician from Akian who came out to take a look at the system a day earlier than expected. It was pleasant and easy working with the folks at the office to get appointments scheduled and they were good about contacting me with earlier availability. Carlos was very professional and respectful and gave me honest opinions about my options on the AC. He also answered all my questions thoroughly and prepared clear quotes for work. Given the age of my AC nearing the limit of lifespan, I decided on a replacement rather than repair and feel good about making an informed decision with the relevant information provided by Carlos. Akian will be back in a couple days for the install and I’m looking forward to having a new system cooling the house.
Update: The Akian crew of technicians led by Antonio and Dereck along with Andres and TJ arrived two days after the initial inspection and installed a new central AC unit and furnace, made duct and plumbing modifications to bring everything up to code, and performed a thorough duct cleaning. These guys were super professional and did a top-notch job over two days to get the new AC system up and running in time for the inevitable August hot stretch. They left the indoor and outdoor work areas clean and neat, thoroughly insulated the refrigerant line in places where the old insulation had deteriorated, and were good enough to recommend a smart thermostat as well as providing a couple useful video demos on the interface and programming. I'm really thankful to them for their professionalism and pleasant manners, attention to detail, and how easy they made all the hard work seem. I highly recommend Akian for anyone looking for HVAC services.
