Danny is so helpful in finding us the best deals and tailoring our flight to fit exactly with our needs. Even on complex around the world trips he was able to find us great flights at super prices.
My wife and I are relatively regular travellers but this time with our trip being a bit more complex sorting out the flights and connections it was proving rather challenging. A friend put us on to Airfare Geeks and we are forever grateful for that suggestion. Not only did Tania sort out all the flights - even managing to shift our dates to accommodate a change in our plans she did it so quickly and we could not believe the prices she got us - on premium airlines!

We booked flights to Argentina with a stop in Chile on the way home through airfare geeks in late 2024. Our flight bookings were initially going really well. We had received similar quotes from other travel agents, but were happy to use Airfare geeks. After accepting their quoted flights, we were advised we need to finalise the booking within 12 hours to confirm our booking. As it was already 4.45pm, this meant needing to complete everything within a very short timeframe which felt very rushed.
Once the booking was completed, we noticed that one of the flights didn't include luggage, even though our quote stated all flights included luggage. When we raised this concern with them we were told that the flight costs without luggage were still the cheapest option and we would need to pay the luggage fees for this flight. The agent acknowledged that it was his mistake regarding the baggage fees as this was on another page of the booking that he didn't look at.
We asked for Airfare geeks to cover the luggage cost, as they hadn't advised this condition before we booked, however they refused. We didn't push this further at the time as we didn't want Airfare geeks to cancel the flights. This cost us an extra $150 each for the baggage fees.
Had airfare geeks taken ownership of their mistake we would have given them a 5 star rating, but their lack of responsibility left us not trusting them and we wouldn't recommend them for future travel.

I understand my colleague, Gus, has already reached out and has reimbursed you the full cost you incurred for your luggage.
You should have been clearly advised of your fare inclusions, including luggage, before paying any money. Our minimum standard is to advise the seating, luggage and frequent-flyer options at the same time as issuing the invoice so you know exactly what you are getting before you pay, and that clearly didn’t happen.
I’m truly sorry we let you down.

Just regarding the payment deadline you mentioned, I agree a 12 hour ticketing time limit is far too short. Ticketing deadlines are set by the airlines and in this particular case, yes it's extremely short. As I say, it's the airline's policy, not ours, and I will pass your feedback on to them directly. In fact it is something I have already raised with them in the past. It's a very difficult time limit to work with, especially, as was the case for yourself, when the flights are held in the afternoon.
I really appreciate you taking the time to pass on your feedback and I am truly sorry about what happened with the luggage on those tickets!

Last week I did a web search looking for reputable websites for business class airfares and read favourable reviews of Airfare Geeks.
