AHC&R Repaired our damaged siding following days of very high winds. They did an excellent job, looking better even than when it was first installed. They were also sensitive to our concerns about potential further rain or wind damage and got the work done the same day! Very professional team.

I knew when I bought the house that the roof would need replacing in a few years, and that time had come. In addition to replacing the shingles on both the house and the garage, the sheathing needed to be replaced (the old sheathing had a mold problem), the attic ventilation needed improving (hence the mold), the gutters were in bad shape, and the fascia on the garage was obviously decaying. A.H. Construction took care of all of it, and I am quite pleased with the results.
I went with A.H. Construction after getting several quotes because they made a thorough inspection and offered the best price, with a fully itemized proposal. Sammy was very communicative whenever something unexpected came up (ex. some sections of the house fascia also needed replacement), and when I noticed a spot where a stray nail had pierced some siding, his team took care of it (fortunately, I had some extra siding on hand). The updated attic ventilation should prevent future mold problems, and the new gutters and gutter guards look great.
Overall, I am very pleased with the work Sammy and his team did, and if I had to do it over again, I would make the same pick. If you're in the AA/Ypsi area and looking for a roofing contractor, I would definitely recommend checking out A.H. Construction.

Sammy came to give me a quote and said he would also come to check on everything everyday and/or his dad Sammy Sr. would be there. We had some issues with mold and rotted wood as well as a sofit we weren’t sure what was going on inside. Sammy and his dad were there each day and contacted me with anything they ran into. They sent pictures of what they found and the work they did. Sammy gave me choices about what they could do to fix things so I could save money but still get the job done and done well. I was truly very happy with the workers every day. They knew what they were doing and did great carpentry work on top of the roofing. We also got gutters done which look great and was reasonably priced. It was amazing how well everything went and how reasonable the cost was. A.H. Construction gave us the best quote and they did a great job. I highly recommend them. I’ve had other large jobs done on my house and never felt as confident in how things were being done as I did with A.H. Construction. They kept me informed every step of the way and had pictures to show what they found and what they did. This was really great since I saw pictures of the venting, the boards before and after, etc.

We had a fantastic experience with AH construction. We just bought a new home and realized early that we needed a new roof. AH came out and did a very thorough inspection. They also reviewed our home inspection report ahead of time so they were well aware of the issues with the roof and made sure to address all those during the replacement. This plus all the positive reviews led to us choosing them over some of the bigger roofing companies that also came out to give us a quote. AH was also very competitively priced compared to other options. They took pictures to document that the issues identified during our home inspection were corrected which was very reassuring. The roof also looks amazing. The crew cleaned up very well afterwards and took great care of our property while they were working. Overall would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a new roof.

This is one of those times where the reviews are spot on. This is a great family owned company, with a small devoted crew, who care about doing the job right, delivering excellent product and service, and doing everything they can to make sure the homeowner is being well taken care of. If they did more than just roofs I would hire them to take care of other construction related work as well, but alas, they specialize in roof repair and replacement (with some work on adjacent areas like chimney tops, rotten wood replacement, ventilation, and siding) and since they did such a super job replacing our roof I doubt I'll see them again. So, the best I can do is to recommend them to others. You simply won't find another company in the area that can match their expertise, craftsmanship, price, and quality of materials and service. Highly recommend, especially for something as important as your roof!

AH Construction is absolutely phenomenal. The entire crew from the construction manager to the owner to the roofing crew were honest and hard-working. They were all very nice and inspired great confidence in me that the work was being done well. They provided photos along the way, so that I could follow their work. Their work is high quality, they are super knowledgeable, their pricing & estimates are fair and competitive, they communicate very well, and they take great pride in their work. We had severely damaged fascia and decking, very poor attic circulation, bad gutter layout that lead to underlying structure damage, and aging shingles. They came up with a plan that worked and as new underlying damage was discovered, they kept us well-informed of our options. Each day, they cleaned up the site very well and took great care to not damage anything on our house or gardens. I am so happy with the end result: expert carpentry, expert roofing, effective/efficient attic ventilation, and great gutter replacement! The house looks great! I had A.H. Construction Co. do my roof. They had the most in depth free inspection and detailed quote. They came on time. Their pricing was decent and they had high quality products. Their crew was hard working and they cleaned up afterwards. We have an older home that had quite a bit of damage on the roof. I love the finished look and appreciated their honesty.
