Lack of Customer Support and Unjust Charges Following Return – Afterpay
I am submitting this complaint regarding an unresolved issue involving Afterpay and its partnered merchant, Dick’s Sporting Goods. This situation has led to improper billing practices, a lack of transparency, and an unfair financial burden placed on me as the consumer—despite my repeated and timely efforts to resolve the issue through the appropriate channels.
I have already submitted formal complaints through both the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the FTC. Afterpay has demonstrated a serious lack of customer service, offering no effective way to work collaboratively with customers to resolve disputes. Their delays, miscommunication, and unwillingness to take responsibility have only prolonged the issue and added unnecessary stress and financial strain.
