A France and Son recently handled the funeral for my late Father. As a family we were treated with kindness, empathy and courtesy by Tom France throughout the process of making the arrangements. Everything was explained clearly and any questions promptly answered. On the day, the cars were punctual and were immaculate, and we were well looked after by Martin and Callum. The flowers provided by florist Maria Ford exceeded expectations and were exquisite. The funeral service was exactly as we requested. We are extremely grateful to Tom and the team for their help, professionalism and kindness and for giving our beloved Dad such a beautiful send-off.

Tom, Jason and Martin were fantastic in organising a direct cremation for me. The proceds was made simple throughout and I was able to visit their office to go through what we wanted and actually speak to their staff face to face. Would highly recommend.❤️
I've used A France & Son for both of my parents now and they were exactly what I needed. There's so much to think about with a funeral and they helped me with every part, including all those bits I did myself. They accommodated all of my special requests (using a new venue they had never used before, having the service live-streamed, sorting out the flowers for me, and more) without fuss and with the gentle approach that I needed at that time.
I've spoken to friends who have used other funeral directors and they felt there was subtle selling going on in the background to make you spend more, but with A France & Son there was absolutely none of that - I chose what I wanted without any pressure or comment. Very straightforward.
At the service itself they were very professional and went out of their way to help those attending, little things like helping the older people shake out their umbrellas, showing people where the toilets were and more. Overall they were just spot on.
A France carried out the funeral arrangements in respect of our father who passed away in early January.
It was Jason Clark, one of the funeral directors who guided us, cared for us and helped us through every step of the funeral arrangements and went beyond his duties for his compassion, care and invaluable support - There are no words which can describe the love and care we received from Jason.
Equally Tom, one of the other funeral directors, gave us the same care and support and love.
The love and care from Jason and Tom, we received goes beyond anything we could have hoped for.
