We had a fantastic experience with Simon at Affordable Home Designs and would highly recommend him. From the very beginning, Simon came out to discuss our ideas and offered valuable advice and creative suggestions to help us make the most of our plans. The planning drawings he produced were absolutely beautiful and really brought our vision to life. He also completed our building regulations drawings and dealt with the necessary applications to the local council, making the whole process much less stressful. Communication was excellent throughout – Simon was always responsive, helpful and quick to answer any questions. He was always happy to offer advice whenever we needed it and responded promptly. Simon also recommended other surveyors we needed for the project, who were equally affordable and carried out their work quickly. He was proactive in chasing the council for updates and answers, which we really appreciated. Overall, the service was professional, efficient, affordable and excellent value for money. We are extremely pleased with the work Simon carried out for us and would definitely recommend Simon at Affordable Home Designs to anyone looking for an architect.

Simon listened to what I wanted for my home, visited, and gave sound advice. He is professional, knowledgeable and calm. His designs are clear and well annotated, referencing building regs and local council processes. Simon acted as agent contacting local authority building control and kept me updated throughout the design approval stages. The work is now in progress. The builder also complimented the quality and clarity of Simon's plans. I recommend Affordable Home Designs without hesitation and would call on Simon's expertise again.
