Rob is great. We had a heating issue, and immediately after, a leak. We have a boiler system. We had a plumber come out, but when he tested the tub, it wasn't leaking. Rob came back and found that if we filled the tub up more, it would trigger the leak. He went beyond and above to diagnose our problem and wouldn't leave till he figured it out. **The tub fill wasn't the plumbers error, to be clear. We didn't fill it high enough when he was downstairs looking for a leak.
Rob is who figured that out for us, and even though that's not in his purview normally, like I said, he went all out and stayed till he diagnosed where the water was coming from.
Furnace quit working, called Affordable and they were at my house within 2 hours. Very knowledgeable, problem explained very thoroughly. Ended up needing a new furnace. Very reasonable price and quick install.

We had an issue with our furnace automatically turning off for four hours at a time. I called Affordable Heating And Cooling and spoke to Rich and he was able to come out the same day to fix the problem. As a protocol, however, they tested my vents and showed me the readout of dangerous gases coming into our home! This could’ve been deadly and instead of just coming and fixing the operational issue they took it upon themselves to determine our safety and I’m so thankful for it. Now we have a new furnace, financed at 0% interest and healthy air coming into our home!

Our furnace went out the day before Christmas, called another local furnace repair company, they came out, got it restarted and said we needed a new part. Furnace went out the next day, we called the day after Christmas and we're told they wouldn't come out without charging extra fee. They came out the following Monday, different person, told us we needed a new furnace, charged a 2nd trip charge since they did a diagnostic. We then called Affordable Heating. They came out within a few hours, diagnosed the issue, contacted the manufacturer and got the parts covered under warranty. They thoroughly explained the problem, gave us a plan for repair and a price. They came back New years eve with the parts, did the repairs efficiently, they couldn't have been more professional and pleasant to work with. They charged less for the trip charge than the local company, and charged what they quoted. They followed up afterward to make sure things were working properly. I would recommend them to anyone and will continue to use them if we need hvac services again. They saved us the cost of a new furnace.

Call AFFORDABLE HEATING AND COOLING
If your thinking of calling Maglish for the $29.99 Special for a furnace maintenance tunup. DON'T DO It!!!! The technician came in did and incomplete job, then told me what I really needed was a blower motor pull, clean, and reinstall for $729, with no breakdown of Labor rates or parts.
I called Affordable Heating and Cooling, and talked to Rich Hollingsworth the owner. I told Rich what Maglish wanted to do for $729.00, and Rich told me that process should be around $300 or so. Affordable heating and cooling then came out, and did all that, and I brought a new filter from them for $35.00. Total price $320.95 with the filter. Once again call AFFORDABLE HEATING AND COOLING.

A few months ago, I accidentally called Affordable Heating & Cooling instead of another contractor who came to the house 2 weeks earlier. That was the best mistake I've made in a long time.
