A Dodgy gym, they make it very complicated/difficult to leave and hit you with penalties when you don't pay. Claim they're a charity to guilt trip you into paying them but in reality they're screwing over the membership.

All members are required to review and agree to the membership terms and conditions during the sign-up process, including information regarding contract lengths, freezes and how to request a cancellation correctly. We also provide guidance on both our website and member app explaining that all cancellation or freeze requests must be submitted via the website by going to: Memberships → Manage Membership Payments. Cancelling a direct debit alone does not cancel a membership agreement and can unfortunately lead to payment issues.
We always strongly recommend contacting us before cancelling a direct debit so we can help avoid any misunderstandings or complications moving forward.
As a charity-run gym, we are proud to provide a high-value gym experience, quality equipment and facilities at a significantly lower cost than many commercial gyms. Most importantly, all profits go back into supporting children with additional needs and their families within the local community.
We genuinely appreciate feedback and always encourage members to contact our team directly so we can try to resolve concerns in a fair and supportive way 🙂

Absolute Fitness is an excellent gym with a welcoming atmosphere and fantastic equipment. The staff are friendly, supportive, and always willing to help, whether you’re a beginner or experienced. The gym is clean, well-maintained, and has a great community feel. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their fitness in a positive environment.
