We engaged with Above All Tree Care to pollard a very large Ash tree. We last had it pollarded seven years ago and it showed! We were very impressed with the work done and the attitude of the two guys who climbed and cut and moved the branches to the maw of the Chipper (technical term). They had arrived early and the lack of street side phasing didn’t concern them. Later I got a couple of cars moved. The end result was a complete pollarding, they cleared up the garden and the street. They had come well prepared with cutting and safety equipment. They knew exactly what they were doing. If they - and I - are still around in seven years time there is no doubt as to who will get my business.

The team of two (Toby and George) turned up on time, were polite and helpful, discussed the tree work, gave advice on what kind of pruning. They carried out the fairly extensive work without fuss or damage, respectful to the other plants and newly showing bulbs. They worked hard and continuously, keen to get the job done. They used the log-chipper and tidied up thoroughly after finishing. They were very pleasant to have around for the three hours they were with me. Finally, they charged what I think was a fair rate for the job.
