After living with awful uPVC windows for 5 years I contacted Abbey to put back the original sash and case windows.
Glen made sure to keep me in the loop as work progressed, was prompt on the day and very respectful to my property, at the end of the day you’d barely know they’d been here.
The windows themselves are exceptional both in quality, design and attention to detail and have completely transformed my house. If you are looking for new sash and case windows, I could not recommend Abbey highly enough.
We're delighted by the quality of the work in replacing our 100 year old sash windows. The team worked carefully and with good humour in windy, cold conditions. They tidied and cleaned up at the end of every working day. The windows look great, are in sympathy with the age of thr house, they move smoothly, and the house was noticeably warmer and quieter immediately.

Great experience. We've just had 19 sash window replacements. Very pleased. Glen has been very communicative all the way along and explains things so well. We had to wait a long time but that is because he is so good that he has a big waiting list. Good prices, excellent windows and they really cleaned up well after themselves. Thanks to Chris and George too who did most of the installation. Highly recommended.

Simply the best! I am overjoyed with the the service I received from Glen and his team. From my very first interaction with Glen, the communication was superb (something you sadly don't see much of in my experience!). He kept me informed of progress every step of the way and was happy to answer any questions. The windows are absolutely beautiful and even better than I had expected. Glen is an expert in his craft and a true gentleman. Supported by an excellent team, he offers something really special. The painters he recommended also did a superb job and were equally as professional. All in all, a very positive experience. I know he has a huge waitlist, but I genuinely feel it's worth the wait.
Glen and his team have replaced all the old sash windows in our Victorian town house and replaced with extremely high quality double glazed working wooden sash windows. He is definitely one of the standout companies we have worked with over the years. Over the last two years Glen and the team at Abbey have replaced most of the crumbling sash windows in our large Victorian house. They are perfectionists and true craftsmen. Their knowledgeable advice has meant we now have, not just replacements, but windows which fit properly, work perfectly and look more beautiful than before with top quality, suitable antique trims and fittings. Not only that but Glen kept us advised and informed every step of the way, and the guys were a pleasure to work with inside and outside the house. Very highly recommended.
Glen and his team were simply fantastic throughout. They replaced some truly awful aluminium frames to the front of our Victorian property with their beautiful timber sash. The quality and workmanship is second to none. The communication was first class from start to finish. Friendly. Professional. Honest. I really can't recommend them enough. Looking forward to the guys coming back later in the year to replace the rear windows!
