*** BEWARE IF THIS COMPANY DAMAGES YOUR ITEMS ***
Scheduled a local move for our family three months ago. Three young adults arrived with the company moving truck to load, move and unload the large furniture items and some boxed storage items. The movers wrapped each TV with a moving blanket instead of boxing them as they should have (which we were charged for the box material). Upon unloading our items, it was discovered that one TV had been left on the stand and loaded into the truck, it had shifted somehow in transportation and was broken (dented and screen completely cracked). When it was brought to the movers attention, they asked if I was sure it wasn't damaged prior to the move?!! The "supervisor" was reluctant to compensate us for the damage, but finally did when it was pointed out that none of the TV's were boxed but wrapped. After everything was set up, we did a walk through and discovered that the full motion bed frame base was also damaged. Again, I was asked if the damage was existing prior to our move. I ensured them that it had no existing damage and asked the two young men that disassembled the bed and frame about the damage, they each confirmed that it was not damaged upon disassembly. The damage had completely bent one of the leg bolts to the point it could not be secured. The bed frame had been folded in half, causing it to not level after unfolding it. Upon contacting Blake (the company owner), he sent another one of his movers a week later to access the damage, this gentleman also confirmed the damage and communicated that to Blake. Blake said he would replace the bed frame. Blake sent an Amazon link for a bed frame that wasn't even the same type as what his company damaged. When I was finally able to get Blake on the phone, he was initially belligerent, refusing to replace or repair the bed frame. Prior to disconnecting the call, he said he would reimburse me up to $500. Currently, it is one week shy of four months since his company damaged our furniture and NO COMPENSATION HAS BEEN RENDERED as promised. DONOT USE THIS COMPANY - if they damage your property, you will be left hanging.

We would say “thanks for the feedback.” However, 90% of what you wrote is fabricated and the evidence proves otherwise. You were unresponsive for an entire month after we sent you different bed frames multiple times. A bit much about Blake, considering he tried to reach you multiple times during your period of not responding. We came by, assessed the bed frame and we AGREED on us getting you a frame that was affordable. We came up with $500-$600 bed frame from wayfair. Sent you the purchase order and you never responded for over a month.
Belligerence? Sounds kind of slanderous in regards to the owner. That last thing you said to us was in regards to getting your lawyer involved when we merely told you all we can give you is $500.
The worst part about this is, is no moving company would even come close to refunding you anything because you have already signed a contract releasing your household goods at a rate of $1/lb/article. We were just trying to make it right because we felt bad that the “young adults” damaged your bed frame and you seemed like a decent person. Once again, blasphemous talk in reference to my movers. Trying to frame it a certain way to make it appear as if our company screwed you over and we didn’t provide you with movers. Frame them as “young adults.”
The best part about you leaving this review is that it gives us a chance to respond to your truth-bending, slanderous review. You finally awoke from the months of no response in relation to our efforts to confirm a certain $500+ new need frame and we got nothing from you. You call us out of the blue and immediately start telling us about a $1500 bed frame that we are going to need to get you. We sensed a high level of delusion in your abrupt demands and legal threats, hence the defensive (not belligerent) response from Blake. Our company records every call and text message, so as we’re going through yours, you look like you’re telling a fib. You out of all people should know the law and be able to interpret the contract you signed. Instead of us trying to buy you a new one or even giving you way more money than we should have, you will now get $1/lb/article. We tried to handle this amicably, but you didn’t want $500. As you proceeded to make idle threats about getting a lawyer when you don’t even have half of a case. Thank you for jump starting our engines on this beautiful, late-October morning.

Highly Recommend!!! The team was amazing and very fast! I have very heavy, expensive pieces and they did a great job protecting all my items. I’m very picky with moving companies and they will be my go to moving forward.

We really appreciate the positive feedback! Thank you for using our moving services!
Unbelievable, hard working, and friendly crew.I used them once before and recommended them to a friend and just them again. They we're so accommodating with EVERYTHING that we asked them to do.They promised that we'll be sleeping in our own beds tonight, and guess what?I'm writing this review, sleeping in my own bed in my new residence Thank you Blake and your wonderful crew, you all did an amazing joband worked so hard on a tough job and my family is greatful to you all!
I would like to thank A1A Moving and Transport for the outstanding job their crew did in my recent move from Jacksonville to Fernandina Beach, Fl. The crew wrapped all my furniture. and I have not found ANY damage during the unpacking. They were polite, courteous, and a pleasure to have in my house. I enjoyed spending 2 days w/ the same crew. It was the best moving experience I have ever had. Oh. and by the way, the final bill was several hundred dollars under the bid. I highly recommend A1A M&T. Russell G Perdue.
Timely, efficient, and professional—A1A Moving delivered an all-around excellent experience!
As a Realtor, I did my research before selecting a moving company, and A1A stood out thanks to a strong referral and competitive pricing. Big shoutout to CJ, Elijah, and Garrett for making a typically stressful process feel seamless. They were communicative, careful, and incredibly easy to work with from start to finish. Highly recommend!
The movers showed up a little late apparently due to traffic and waited for one to finish eating but not a big deal. I prepared everything to be easier to move, broke down bed, had boxes next to the door. I had one king bed, 2 night stands, 2 chest of drawers 2 love seats, coffee table, light chairs and boxes and a work bench. I was quoted about $575 to move to a storage unit. They were slow and I ended up helping.
I requested to protect the bed which was the only thing not wrapped! Apparently they do the opposite of what's requested.
It was an obvious tactic to get more money by packing lower and more at the end which of course they ran out of room. They left a couple pieces of furniture!
I was closing on my house the next day and needed to be out. They conveniently said they would come back if they were compensated. Being desperate I agreed.
They thought the 10 x10 was a little small so I bought a bigger one 10 x 15. A similar tactic was used not using the space especially at the back and building up at the end. When they returned the one that initially was going to pick up what was left now has an emergency and wouldn't pick up what was agreed to because he was in a hurry to get back. It cost about double the quote including the couple hundred that I gave them.
I had to rent a U Haul and move the rest myself since I had to be out and clean the house! Long night. Thanks for the help A1A.
I texted Blake to save this review and he said he'd call the following day, that was several days ago. Beware...

John, sorry you feel that. However, I have a security camera in the box of every one of my trucks and I watched the entire loading process after you reached out to me. If you only had the amount of items you stated to me over the phone, they should not have had to stack anything. The tactic you are referring was no tactic at all. Aside from you tacking on double the amount of items to be moved after they already loaded the items discussed over the phone. Of course the movers would have to go back into the truck, shuffle some items and restack. They loaded the truck according to the items you wanted moved. Our truck is 27 feet long and there's not a snowball's chance in Hades that your stated items would call for any reshuffling and restacking.
You requested the movers to move twice the amount of stuff you told me over the phone. If they had a platform for moving companies to rate customers you would rate extremely low due to the deception you conveyed to me over the phone and the deception in message telling me you "do not want to hurt my company's reputation." You are not hurting my reputation in the slightest and if you think I'm going to take your word for what you claim to have happened, you are inevitably wrong. The reason I didn't call you is due to the footage I watched from my security camera which disproved your entire complaint. There would be no reason for me to entertain such blasphemy for your error of judgment and deceptive conveyance of items to be moved to an insufficiently sized storage unit. To clarify for anyone reading this: do not be deceptive about the amount of items you want moved over the phone because it will obviously result in your move taking a couple extra hours. Some things are outside the province of a definition and simple syllogism can sum this situation up. IF you withhold information and do not convey everything you expect from your movers during your estimate over the phone, THEN your expenses will inevitably increase because additional items do not magically move. THEREFORE, be honest about every single item you wish to have moved so you don't encounter unwanted expenses. I offered you three movers and you shot it down because you mentioned that a "third man just stands around and does nothing." That would not have been the case for your move and you would have benefitted heavily from a third man. The third man is vital in such a precarious situation you put yourself and my movers in. I think you might have actually helped my company's reputation by allowing me to dissect your inaccuracies. Thank you for giving us an assist to show the readers we actually care about our employees and our customers equally. However, the customer is not always right, especially in this case. My movers know I watch every load they take part in on my trucks and it's a shame you would fabricate such a story on our Google profile. Our bread and butter. Our beef and broccoli. Your attempt to "not hurt our reputation" prevailed and we thank you!

A1A Movers Review – 0/10, Absolutely Horrible Experience
I had the unfortunate experience of hiring A1A Movers to help with my 81-year-old relative’s move, and I have to say it was an absolute nightmare. They not only lied about the cost of the move, but their behavior and lack of professionalism were beyond unacceptable.
When the movers arrived, they were far from professional. Not only were they smoking on the job, but they had to use my relative's Wi-Fi to make a call to their company. They clearly didn't care about the situation, and their attitude was beyond frustrating.
To make matters worse, after they had already given a price for the move, they charged an additional $1,500 on top of that for no reason. They even charged her for boxes she never used! Not only did they fail to take all of her items, but after four hours of boxing only six boxes, they became aggressive and uncooperative.
The cherry on top of this disaster was when the manager called demanding immediate payment, even though they hadn't finished the job. The delivery, which was supposed to happen the very next day, was delayed four times. They kept changing the delivery date and then demanded payment before unloading the truck.
I emailed them to address the situation on behalf of my relative, but of course, they chose to ignore me. It's clear that they have zero interest in customer service.
I would NEVER recommend A1A Movers to anyone. This company is unprofessional, dishonest, and downright aggressive. The overcharging, poor communication, and complete lack of respect for customers is unacceptable. If I could give them a 0/10, I would. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a reliable moving company.

Mam, please remove this review from our Google profile...We are called A1A Moving & Transport, not A1A Movers. I'm sorry you had such a terrible experience with your move, however, you left the negative review on the wrong company's profile as have many others who have been moved by them. PLEASE REMOVE this as it hurts our reputation and it DOES NOT apply to my company. We are located in Jacksonville, FL not Miami. If you have an issue with my company please reach out. (904) 718-3370. We do not treat our customers that way!
